Egeo Bomb Black by O Boticário

I’m the proud owner of the exclusive kit my father brought back from Brazil, featuring the perfume alongside body and hair gel that amplify the scent. It opens with a blend of red fruits and caramel, then the heart combines leather with those fruits for a balsamic, enveloping touch. In the dry-down, after a few hours, tiramisu emerges with a vanilla base. It’s a wonder that evolves through complex phases, boasting bomb-like projection and longevity: two hours of trail and nearly nine on the skin (if it lands on hard fabric, it can last days, releasing sweet bursts). It generates plenty of compliments; girls adore sweet, mature fragrances. I recommend wearing it in winter when it’s cold, as the heat makes it overwhelming due to its sweetness.

Good, pretty and cheap. It’s a gourmand scent with chocolatey tones that sit somewhere between the vibe of Kilian’s Black Phantom and Faviol Seferi’s Insomnia, though it’s not a clone—just a similar DNA. Features red fruits and plenty of burnt caramel. Lasts incredibly long and projects superbly, though I wouldn’t recommend it for warm weather. In cold climates and at night, it’s on another level. I really like it.

Very sweet leather. The most prominent note is caramel and tiramisu. It starts with a very subtle green opening that fades within minutes, giving way to the sugary leather. Suitable for men or unisex. The longevity is quite impressive; my shirt still smells of caramel and tiramisu after more than 12 hours. A sweet black bomb.

I bought it after smelling it at a counter and I really liked it. If you enjoy gourmand perfumes, you must try it. It smells of red fruits, caramel, and leather, super pleasant, giving you the urge to eat yourself. After about an hour, it dries down to smell like Salvatore Ferragamo’s Uomo Signature, I suppose due to that rich mix of caramel and leather. The performance is moderate, projecting well for about two hours before dropping, but don’t miss it; it creates a personal bubble. Longevity is also moderate, lasting quite a while (around 8 hours), but after the sixth hour, it sits close to the skin. Given the price, it’s worth it. In summary: Trail 8/10, Longevity 8/10, Scent 10/10, Versatility: better for evening in moderate or cold weather. IT’S WORTH IT!

A fragrance that combines two predominant notes: caramel and leather. Oh, what a delight! An addictive, sweet yet not overwhelming scent, lasting approximately 10 hours. It projects very well for the first three hours, then settles into a short trail that is still noticeable. The price is quite accessible at 25 US dollars. If you want to imagine what it smells like, picture wearing a leather jacket and unwrapping a Snickers bar (chocolate and caramel); that combination of leather and dulce de leche with chocolate is exactly the scent. It is a compliment machine; women love it. Recommended.

It has nothing to do with Valentino Uomo or Black XS L’excess as people claim. What it does have is a scent of caramel and leather, and those are the notes that dominate the entire fragrance.

One of the best things O Boticario has to offer. Exquisite, very sweet, and addictive. It is a scent very similar to United Dream – Dream Big by Benetton, meaning it also shares an air of similarity with Valentino Uomo and a bit of Dior Homme Intense (without the iris). It lasts a long time and projects well during the first few hours. Ideal for cold days, autumn, winter, romantic outings, or night parties.

Aegean Bomb Black was sent by a Brazilian subscriber and it truly surprised me. It’s an aroma of red fruits, toasted caramel, and leather, reminding me of Paco Rabanne’s Black XS L’excess.
