It’s basically Jafra’s take on Tommy Hilfiger’s ‘Tommy’, just with slightly less longevity. Beyond that, the scent is 95% identical.
This fragrance initially reminds me of many catalogue scents, particularly the Avon cup-shaped one due to the lavender and a spicy note, I believe it’s pepper. From there comes a wonderful lime, very soft, like cutting a lime in summer. The scent lingers at about 50cm; it doesn’t project much but certainly leaves a very pleasant trail. I recommend it for replication; it’s worth it. It belongs to the CK One, Versace Pour Homme family, but this one is far more delicious. It lasts on my skin for about 4-5 hours.

I have over a hundred perfumes and have been a member for many years, yet this is my first review. I was gifted this perfume this Christmas by one of my patients. On my skin, I detect a tobacco note. It’s like a sweet, spicy cherry cigar. A delightful surprise. I’d just like to ask the community whether this is my perception or if the scent truly gives that impression. Thanks and regards.

While rummaging through my catalogue collection, I stumbled upon this bottle of Epic from the late 2000s. It’s woody, lavender-scented, and has that characteristic spicy kick from the pepper. Unlike many catalogue lotions, this doesn’t smell synthetic or ‘cheap’, although its longevity and sillage are quite limited (6/10).

I’ve always said I’m not a fan of grapefruit, but here it’s beautifully balanced by lavender and the other notes, blending perfectly to create a cool, fresh, soapy, classic and timeless scent. It’s a cologne lasting about five hours with moderate projection. Excellent for hot weather. I wore it in the late nineties and early 2000s, and I plan to use it again next summer.
