I usually seek out dense, gourmand fragrances, but this EDP has been a lifesaver when I want something lighter. I bought it recently, and although it doesn’t smell quite as fresh as the sample, I’m still enjoying it.
A perfumeria recommended it to me, so I can’t offer much of an opinion yet due to lack of wear. It’s pleasant and perfect for spring or summer. It reminds me very much of Jo Malone’s Poppy and Barley; they share notes, but I don’t detect any amber at all.
It came in an order and I loved it. Although it offers no novelty and stays within the familiar, it’s a perfect all-rounder for anyone who enjoys smelling like a sweet flower garden.
Do you know mango sticky rice? It’s a Thai dessert with coconut milk, rice, and mango that I adore. Well, I don’t want to smell like that, and this is exactly what it smells like. I didn’t know the brand; a friend gifted me the sample, and based on the notes and photo, I thought it would be an amber floral as Fragrantica says. On me, that dessert scent is incredibly potent and lasts for hours. After some time, it softens, and I barely notice any floral notes.
It arrived in an order and I absolutely loved it. While it’s nothing groundbreaking and stays within the familiar, it’s an ideal all-rounder for anyone who enjoys smelling like a sweet flower garden.
