Espada Guarani: Stella Dustin's New Woody Spicy Scent for Men

Stella Dustin is set to launch Espada Guarani, a masculine fragrance arriving in 2026. Its name suggests a sword and echoes Guarani culture, promising a scent with presence and natural character.

The perfume opens with mineral and salty nuances, moves through a gingery herbal heart, and finishes with a woody base. Early ratings put it at 4.24 out of 5, indicating a promising reception.

Espada Guarani fits into the woody spicy fragrance family, though it takes a fresh and unexpected route. The top notes of violet leaves, mineral notes, and salt create a sharp, almost stony opening with a watery, breezy feel. It is an invigorating start that sets it apart from typical masculine launches.

The heart blends ginger and sage. Ginger offers a brisk, warming spice, while sage contributes a soothing, aromatic quality. This combination adds a subtle complexity that prevents the fragrance from feeling one-dimensional, easing the transition to the base.

The base is built on woody notes and vetiver. Vetiver imparts a classic earthy, smoky depth, and the woods give a clean, sturdy foundation. The overall impression is refined and confident, with moderate sillage that suits both office wear and relaxed weekends.

Its key accords are aromatic, ozonic, mineral, and woody, with additional green, aquatic, herbal, fresh spicy, soft spicy, and fresh facets. This broad spectrum makes it a flexible option for various situations and seasons, though it shines best in spring and summer.

With 21 ratings and two reviews, the fragrance is still young, but the verdict is positive. Users note the original blend of salt and vetiver, as well as a smooth, pleasant evolution that keeps the wearer engaged throughout the day.

Men who like woody and spiced colognes but want a modern, mineral freshness will find Espada Guarani appealing. It works well for those seeking an everyday scent that feels both distinctive and approachable, especially in warmer weather.

Espada Guarani is a well-executed new release from Stella Dustin, balancing an unusual mineral opening with a dependable woody base. It is a worthy addition to any man's collection who values originality and wearability.

  1. Very good dupe of BIR. When I test them side by side I’ll update, but at first impression it’s the same. Even if it just matches the other one’s short longevity, it’s absolutely worth it because its price is very low. It’s a proven DNA, it appeals, and in my opinion it’s super versatile. Brilliant!!

  2. Very good perfume for what it costs here in Paraguay, a known DNA and mass-appealing, reliable, BIR type. Versatile for transitional seasons and with more than acceptable longevity.
