A beautiful, powerful and elegant perfume. It resembles LVB but replaces the patchouli with vanilla and adds an almond note. A touch of orange acidity saves it from being too sweet. I’ve washed my hands three times and it’s still there. With just 5-10 sprays, it leaves a massive trail lasting 7-8 hours. It doesn’t smell synthetic or like alcohol; the quality is brilliant for the price. Recommended.

Ajmal Evoque Silver smells very similar to Zara Vibrant Leather Platinum, Armaf Craze, and therefore to PM’s Pegasus. It has good longevity, sillage and projection, and it’s a completely unisex fragrance. In Chile it can be found for around $30 (22,000 Chilean pesos).
The first time I tried it, I got a decant and it didn’t convince me; I felt it had a very vintage vibe. Months later I smelled it again and, suddenly, something changed: I started to like it more and more until I bought the 100ml bottle. It seems to me the perfect perfume for autumn. It’s one of those scents where, as time passes, you go completely mad for it.
It has never caught me out; I don’t repel it, but that opening note just doesn’t sit right with me… I’ve had it tucked away for years without daring to use it, not sure when it would fit. The good thing is it’s cheap, so it doesn’t hurt that it sits there gathering dust. They say it’s identical to Prada L’homme; perhaps the only thing they have in common is that they’re sold in perfumeries. Apart from that, they have nothing to do with each other. Finding reviews of this perfume in Spanish is harder than spotting a JPG Le Beau LP.
