Descripción

Flower by Kenzo Poppy Bouquet Eau de Parfum by Kenzo is a floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2020, this composition was created by Dora Baghriche and Alberto Morillas. Its olfactive structure unfolds with a top note of nashi pear, giving way to a heart of gardenia and Bulgarian rose, before settling into a base of almond tree.

  • I’ve liked it quite a bit; it’s youthful, cheerful and chic—a combination of attributes. It follows the Flower line at the start, although I said I preferred Lumière for the jasmine; then it evolved differently and I still want to keep it. It’s for having fun in spring-summer; I’d love if it were more long-lasting and if Mr Morillas’ good nose lived forever.

  • I love it; super feminine and floral, almost innocent and very versatile for any daytime occasion. I don’t like the Flower line, but this one is exquisite. Con: on my skin it lasts very little.

I was surprised; it’s beautiful and feminine, barely sweet, feeling fresh instead. On my skin it leaves a trail, nothing like the original Flower… I had reviewed it as similar to Good Girl based only on a 1 ml decant, but after buying it, I don’t find it that similar. I adore it; it received plenty of compliments at work and leaves a trail after four hours.

This perfume is wonderful if you seek cleanliness and femininity without fear of the nashi pear’s sweetness. It is innocence and femininity, but not childish, rather neat, maintaining that traditional Flower essence: a clean, distinguished and very feminine scent. A beautiful aroma. If you liked the traditional Kenzo Flower but found it too serious or not sweet enough, this is your spot. To be fair, it lacked a bit of direct sensuality, but it’s one of my favourites. Excellent longevity, though with discreet sillage. This perfume introduced me to the world of fragrances and filled my shelf 😅💕 Thank you, Mr Morillas. P.S.: It bears no resemblance to the Black Opium in the recommendations. NOTHING. Hard to find something similar; perhaps vaguely like Givenchy’s Irresistible due to the talc-like, sweet and rose notes, but the latter is much sweeter. Best to try it as there’s nothing else like it. The vibe is of a very balanced woman; I feel like a liar, haha, I think of femininity, neatness, innocence, love, stability, comfort and elegance.

  • I’m not a huge fan of florals, but this scent (despite its name) is more fruity, and its flowers are so tender and soft they are enchanting. Avocado-vanillaised, like a floral dessert if such a thing exists. Soft, delicate, the most feminine, yet also wearable, pretty and comfortable. Flowers with a daring touch that doesn’t detract from its youthfulness. Lovely.

  • Almost a teen Kenzo: soft, delicate and cheerful. The top notes are summery, fruity and sparkling; then comes the floral heart and a velvety, sweet base after a quick evolution. It has a hint of sweet almond and a milky touch at the end. It leaves a tranquil scent, ideal for everyday wear, summer or informal moments. Longevity is moderate to light with minimal sillage; it’s very youthful. Update: I’ve worn it for a few days and it’s very comfortable, but it lacks the concentration of an EDP—it’s almost a light EDT. Extremely short-lasting.

  • A delicate fragrance. I perceive it as fruity, more raspberry or blackberry than pear, with a creamy and youthful touch.

  • I’m a fan of Kenzo, but I expected better longevity for the price. I love florals, but since it’s so feminine, is that why it doesn’t last? 🙁

  • Jiconjota

The perfume is too creamy and cloying despite being floral… I felt it was identical to one from Natura. It’s not worth it, at least for me, to spend so much on a fragrance that comes half as good in a Natura catalogue.

  • Jiconjota

It felt too creamy and cloying, despite being floral. It sounded just like one from Natura, nothing more or less. Not worth spending so much on something available at half the price in the Natura catalogue.

It has little to do with the first Kenzo. Here, roses, vanillas and violets aren’t the protagonists; the magnolia is. It has a marked clean phase, like laundry detergent. The evolution is slow, transforming from clean to warm over time. It’s like a white linen dress: elegant, minimalist, balanced and suitable for everyday wear. As a personal observation, this flanker doesn’t do justice to how lovely the first Kenzo is.

  • The pear-rose combo is nice but nothing new. Undoubtedly, there’s no DNA of the original Flower, which I find delicious. Furthermore, its longevity is very low with soft projection.

  • The pink pear combo is nice, but nothing new. It certainly doesn’t have the DNA of the original Flower, which I find delicious. Besides, its longevity is very low with a soft trail.

  • I won it in a giveaway and can be objective: I wouldn’t have bought it for myself. It’s not unpleasant, but it’s not my style of floral. I can’t really detect the pear; it’s a floral from the start, haha. To me, it comes across as a ‘blah’ fragrance.

  • I received a sample and I believe it’s the ‘current’ version of the original Flower. If you’re seeking that DNA, you won’t like this version as it’s very different. The original was a sweet, powdery floral, a hallmark of the 2000s; this one is a sweet, clean floral (slightly powdery), much more modern. I prefer it because I feel the original is dated, perhaps due to the clove. It swaps the melon for pear and the powdery violet for a clean magnolia. On my skin, it lasts 5-6 hours with moderate projection. Ideal for those wanting a clean, feminine floral or who dislike the original, but if you’re hunting for the original DNA, you’ll be disappointed…

  • It’s beautiful; I recommend using it after a shower. It smells clean and is very innocuous. I wish it lasted longer 🙁

  • Perla Vencis

It’s an ideal scent to rest the olfactory senses; I use it for personal enjoyment. Curiously, I don’t notice its evolution: it starts sweet with the nashi pear, then quickly the gardenia and Bulgarian rose emerge, perhaps with the gardenia standing out more. It’s floral with hints of almond breeze. Low projection and lasts about four hours.

  • I loved it; I bought it blind and it suits my style: soft, fresh and smells clean, inviting a hug. It’s a pity it doesn’t last long on the skin, but I’d still recommend it. The gardenia drives me mad, it simply captivates me.

  • geomeun.apyeon

A beautiful fragrance; I absolutely love it. Although it feels mature, it remains fresh and not overly sweet, with notes that seem to include blackcurrant. It’s serious and elegant, not for daily wear but perfect for making an impression at a party. I think I’ll buy it 😍

  • Kimmbaekkie

I was eager to try it and it doesn’t disappoint. It smells tender and delicate, ideal for autumn and winter due to its warmth; nothing sharp. It reminds me of Dior’s Pure Poison, though we only share the gardenia. It’s lovely, but I wouldn’t buy it again. 7/10

  • It could easily be my favourite perfume, but it has no sillage. That’s the only criticism. I don’t know how I mustered the courage to try it because I can’t stand the original. The pear opening is very good, nothing like the musty smell of the original Flower. Totally inoffensive, it doesn’t transform into heavy scents over time, it simply fades away without saying goodbye. It has no patchouli or white musk, which is what gives it more longevity and that slight headache. I have perfumes that last much longer, but I don’t like them as much as this. The clean scent is so strong that I forgive its extremely short sillage. The solution I found was to carry the refill in my bag; I apply it whenever I can. I enjoy it, because in the end the perfume is for me, I couldn’t lose it.

I was gifted this perfume in a set with a 30ml EDP and a 75ml cream last Christmas. I must say that in my opinion it bears no resemblance to the classic Kenzo. Yes, it’s also quite floral, but I feel that Poppy Bouquet lacks freshness or sweetness, or perhaps it’s simply the fact that I only perceive the rose and gardenia notes. On my skin it is long-lasting, and to be honest, it has been one of the fragrances that have made me most proud and asked what it is. The cream has a brutal fixative and moisturising effect, so I recommend acquiring the set if florals are your thing.

  • WineAndRoses

The opening is superbly rich; I smell something similar to pomegranate♥️ (it must be the pear and flower combination), delicious… The dry-down is very similar to Good Girl by Carolina Herrera. A super feminine perfume that, despite being sweet, maintains good character. It evolves exponentially and seems correct to me. Very good, I would buy it without thinking🤍 pd: it doesn’t appear in the notes on Fragantica, but I also detect vanilla… the classic Kenzo vanilla, mmm, on my skin it lasts 4 to 5 hours well.

  • Flowerpower

By chance, I used it on a humid day and discovered it’s perfect for that weather; now it’s my perfume for rainy days, humidity, or heavy air because the sense of freshness it gives is beautiful. It’s a dry fresh scent that gives a feeling of cleanliness and tidiness. I read it was creamy and yes, without being powdery. I detest the original and I don’t know how I mustered the courage to try this, but I loved it 💕; for me, it suits any season and for daytime.

I tried this perfume alongside Kenzo Flower, but I liked this one much more: it’s delicate, feminine, and has a fresh note that makes it very special. I have it on my wishlist to acquire it ❤️

  • I saw this perfume on social media that same day and decided to smell it, and I loved it! 💞 It’s very sweet, soft, and floral; I adore those woody and rose notes. Combining two of my favourite aromas was enchanting from the start. That it’s not something new but rather tender and elegant is what I love, especially because it rests very well on the senses. That the poppy is the centre of attention delighted me; it’s something that personally breaks from the conventional. Its dry-down feels very similar to Carolina Herrera and Jean Paul Gaultier. Simply delicious! I love it. I would buy it again. (❁´◡`❁)🩷

Beautiful perfume, but you’ll need it in your bag to reapply. If you’re used to making a strong impression, you can only do so for the first half-hour. That doesn’t mean it won’t suit very humid and hot periods well. The scent is excellent, but the longevity is a shame… yet I had to buy it!

  • Dama Incognita

Although I’ve smelled many floral-fruity versions and usually pass them by, this one bears no resemblance to the original Flower (which I adore), yet it smells distinct from others on the market and I like it. On my skin, the gardenia dominates with the rose peeking through; I’m not sure if the almond wood note is what gives it that special creamy touch. I appreciate that it lacks citrus. It’s feminine, versatile for any occasion and weather, with lasting longevity and a moderate sillage.

If you enjoy fruity body mists, give this a try. It’s another fruity body mist, what a disappointment.
