Forte by Kappa is a 2026 newcomer for men in the Aromatic Spicy family. It sets out a clean contrast: lively citrus and mint to begin with, then a gentler spiced warmth.
The composition unfolds in three parts. Lime and bitter orange with peppermint lead, lavender and clary sage with cinnamon and nutmeg follow, and grey amber, cedar, tobacco and tonka bean finish.
The top pairs lime, bitter orange, peppermint and cardamom. The result is zesty and green, faintly bitter rather than sweet, with mint lending a just-showered clarity.
Through the middle, lavender and clary sage give a herbal, well-kept aromatic feel. Cinnamon and nutmeg add warmth in a measured, dry manner rather than a gourmand one.
Underneath, grey amber, cedar, tobacco and tonka bean settle the scent. Cedar provides a dry backbone, grey amber a rounded depth, while tobacco and tonka bring a soft, lightly sweet warmth.
Taken together, it moves from citrus and fresh spice towards amber and wood, showing green, lavender, tobacco and cinnamon threads. A smart, everyday character suited to work and leisure.
