From ONE Fragrance House, FOUGÈRE arrived in 2024 as a fragrance for women and men within the Oriental Floral family. Despite a name steeped in green tradition, the character is mellow and wrapping.
At its centre is a neat pyramid: sparkling bergamot to open, orange blossom with rose thereafter, and a base of amber paired with patchouli. Brightness first, earthiness after.
Bergamot carries the opening on its own. Clean, zesty and well-lit, it offers freshness without harshness and clears the way for the floral core.
That core brings orange blossom and rose together. The blossom lends white, almost linen-like clarity with a whisper of green, while the rose adds softness and a powdery, honeyed touch. The result favours radiance over sweetness.
Amber and patchouli form the foundation. Amber lends a smooth, resinous warmth; patchouli contributes seasoned wood and dry earth, giving the composition its staying power.
