Ariana Grande presents her second fragrance inspired by her brother Frankie. A limited edition with a gorgeous silver bottle, available only in the US and UK. A sweet, gourmand unisex scent with eight notes, highlighting sugar, pear, apricot and woods. It’s very ‘edible’. Longevity is moderate, around six hours, with a soft sillage that stays close to the skin. It was a gift from my partner for my birthday, I’d never tried it before and it was a great surprise; I’m delighted. The pompom comes off and has a hook, but I think that’s what gives it the ‘Ariana touch’. I finished the bottle happily without needing to replace it; besides, being limited and selling for a fortune on second-hand apps is madness. I got lucky.
I liked it but feel it’s a bit ‘more of the same’. The only interesting thing is that it’s the unisex version of the perfume ‘Ari’. The opening smells of pear with sugar, but as it dries down the notes settle well, leaving a fruity, sweet and slightly dry trail. The sillage is moderate and the longevity, in my opinion, poor (4 hours). As it’s a limited edition, I don’t think it’s worth it unless you’re a huge Ariana Grande fan.
On my skin it comes out sweet with a woody touch; I don’t detect the apricot but something more citrusy, probably due to my pH. It’s personal, I liked it and would repurchase, but now it’s super expensive 😅
