At first, I hesitated to buy Golpar; it feels like a risky bet as you need to understand this unconventional fragrance. From the start, it smells like nothing you’ve worn before: a spicy, astringent punch. As it settles, the pepper really comes through and the vetiver emerges without being overpowering. When it dries down, there’s that touch of wild moss and a hint of resin, perfect for fresh weather, not necessarily cold. It has excellent longevity, easily 7-8 hours, and projects very well. Believe me, it will confuse many people; I’d say it’s about 70% more suited to men.
