Honey and patchouli dominate everything; the pear is only noticeable on the first spray. It’s super sweet, but for me, it’s unisex—I even gifted it to a friend. It lasts no more than three hours on my skin and feels very dark and sweet. Try it before buying 🙂
I love this perfume; the guava is quite strong and sugary, but just right, no syrup. It’s like being in my grandmother’s garden with her guava bushes, bringing back those memories. I think a man could wear it perfectly; the scent is charming. The only flaw is the lack of longevity; for me, it lasts only two or three hours. It seems strong at first, even slightly woody, but evaporates very quickly. That’s the only problem: you need to reapply it several times a day if you want it to last.
I love this perfume, the guava is quite strong here and sugary, but just enough, no syrup, it’s like being in grandma’s patio next to her guava bushes, this perfume brings me those memories, I think it’s a perfume that could be used by a man perfectly, its scent is enchanting, the only thing is that it has no longevity at all, at least for me it lasts only 2 or 3 hours at most, it seems at first that it has longevity as it’s strong and you can feel it even somewhat woody, but no, its scent evaporates too quickly, that’s the only problem, you must reapply it several times a day if you want it to last on the skin.
I agree with Olorami, it smells quite like guava and above all like honey, although not natural, but like honey caramel or that sugared honey you sometimes get in markets… the other is musk. On me, I didn’t notice fixation or longevity problems at first, although it does diminish a little (for the better) after the initial phase, leaving a trail that starts moderate to potent. As time goes on, the guava “melao” lowers a bit and becomes more creamy with a floral touch. It’s not bad for afternoon-evening or cool climates. In my opinion, if you have plans to attract attention or flirt at cocktail parties and night outings, as long as it’s not in very “polluted” places (clubs, smoke-filled bars, alcohol, sweat, etc.), or if you’re sure you’ll be close (like in a cinema or theatre), it’s the type of fragrance that can help… as the song says: “looking for guava I’m going, that has flavour that has menthol (or patchouli in this case hehehe)”. Anyway, it smells good… the bottle is pretty… I remember thinking about waiting for it to drop in price; because when it was new I found it a bit expensive for what it conveyed to me (a tasty but not enchanting or special scent). I agree with Raquel and Olo that it could be unisex, why not? Try it before buying, it’s not for everyone… attention >>>> whoever doesn’t know guava, try it first!
I agree with Olorami: it smells of guava and, above all, honey—not natural honey, but like honey caramel or that sugared honey from markets… and musk. I didn’t have fixing issues at first, though it fades a bit later (for the better), leaving a trail from moderate to potent. Over time, that ‘melao’ guava note fades and it becomes creamier with a floral touch. It’s not bad for evening or cooler weather. If you want to attract attention or flirt on night outings (avoiding very crowded places like clubs or bars), or if you’ll be close to someone (cinema, theatre), it’s ideal for that. As the song says: ‘I’m looking for guava… that has patchouli in this case, hehe’. It smells good, the bottle is pretty. I agree with Raquel and Olo that it could be unisex, why not? Try it first, it’s not for everyone. Note: if you don’t know guava, try it first! 😀
Very little longevity. And yes, I think it’s unisex.
Something about this perfume gives me nausea. A lot of dried leaves wrapped in cotton candy. I find it intolerable.
This perfume has something that makes me nauseous. A bunch of dried leaves wrapped in cotton candy. I find it intolerable.
I really like the guava scent, a fruit not found here in Latin America, but which I have had the pleasure of knowing naturally and in sweet cubes. At first, the scent didn’t please me at all, the honey reminded me a lot of Touch by Tous, which personally I dislike, but with use and trials, it finally convinced me. Its trail on me is moderate to soft, but of very good longevity. To use it in autumn-winter, day and night. I don’t love it, but I find it pretty.
I love it, I only feel the guava with honey, it’s not complex or elegant, I find it great for daily use in enclosed spaces, it doesn’t bother, it’s not intrusive, it doesn’t project or have a great trail, but it lasts quite well.
I love this perfume; I only detect the guava with honey. It’s not complex or elegant; I find it very suitable for daily use in enclosed spaces: it doesn’t bother, isn’t intrusive, doesn’t project, and has no great sillage, but it lasts quite well.
Gucci by Gucci (alongside Fantasy by Britney Spears) is an unrecognised father of the fruity-chouly scents that invaded us shortly after. Patchouli, fruits, caramels, and Ethyl Maltol, the basic composition of this Willy Wonka family of perfumes; in this case, fortunately, and being a sweet perfume, it first has a nice medicinal aftertaste and finally a background of jasmine or gardenia with musk, zero indolic, with warm breath memories that position it as a more elegant relative. That said, sweet is only for a while. The bottle is very sophisticated; the Ford logo was still lingering around the house; this is the first perfume they released after his departure in 2004; the campaign, a hyper-aesthetic mess directed by David Lynch, featured three incredibly beautiful, extremely thin, and disturbed-looking models dancing hallucinogenically around an L.A. house dressed in gold suits while a camera did low angles and an insidious music seemed to say they were advertising more than a perfume, a hedonistic exorcism. Unfortunately, what was inside was a bit of the ordinary. Watch out; it’s not an altogether ugly perfume, a guava with the right dose of acidity, smoky and warm patchouli, not its dark and earthy version, honey, and that dried-out sugared musk that Belle de Opium also had, a dry-down that smells to me of a mouth neither dirty nor clean, the mouth of someone who has just finished eating and is taking a nap. After the first phases, more acute and grating, it takes on a skin body that is dirty, fruity, and musky, which, while not my taste, doesn’t seem ugly or unpleasant to me. The problem with Gucci by Gucci is that it never quite defines itself as something with personality. Once the beginning is passed, which is very interesting, medicinal, fruity, and novel for this time, what remains is a somewhat banal perfume. Supposedly it’s already discontinued, though it can be found at very good prices in online perfumeries. (I didn’t find it unisex at all, but a man can wear it without complex)

(I don’t see it as unisex, but a man without complexes can use it).
A fragrance that smells unlike anything else, very elegant. I consider it unisex, but I didn’t fall in love with it enough to buy it again.
A perfume that doesn’t smell like any other similar one, very elegant. I consider it unisex, but I didn’t fall in love with it enough to buy it again.
I’ve tried over 150 fragrances and none come close to this patchouli and guava beast. On my skin, the tiare flower stands out, which is ideal as I hate overly fruity perfumes, while the honey adds a special sweetness, though slightly medicinal. After a few hours, the patchouli fades and the honey takes over with the tiare, with jasmine also becoming noticeable. Gucci By Gucci is elegant and unisex-feminine; if you overdo the dose and aren’t accustomed to patchouli, it can give you a headache. The projection is heavy for the first hour, then moderate. It lasts about 8 hours perceptibly.

Then the patchouli fades and the honey, tiare, and a hint of jasmine take over. Gucci by Gucci is elegant and unisex to my taste; if you overapply it or aren’t used to patchouli, it can be a bit dizzying. The projection is heavy for the first hour, then drops to moderate. No trace of perfume left; smells unique and incredibly sensual.
