Gueela, which means ‘night’ in Zapotec, pays homage to Oaxaca’s artisan craft. It is a deep, enveloping fragrance: narcissus, dark chocolate, strong coffee, leather, cedar, and oud. Upon opening, it is floral yet dense; the narcissus blends with the chocolate, promising something heavy and dark. From the very first second, you know this is not a commercial scent but an authentic, handmade proposition for those seeking unique experiences. A curious detail is the liquid’s colour, reddish like blood; it surprises the eye but also symbolises the perfume’s soul and personality: intense, mysterious, and profoundly human. Over time, Gueela evolves into a heart of cedar, leather, and birch tar, with a smoky, comforting touch. This transition reinforces its warm, enigmatic character, ideal for cold weather and very enjoyable in winter. House Coyotl surprises with this creation, true to its motto: ‘scents that evoke your best memory’. Each one holds a piece of Mexico 🇲🇽, and Gueela proudly demonstrates this, offering an experience as unique as our land.
