The structure moves from a zesty, gingery top to a gentle, powdery heart, before resting on amber, sandalwood, musk and patchouli.
At the top, grapefruit, bergamot and mandarin are lifted by ginger. The impression is crisp and radiant, with just enough spice to keep things lively rather than tart.
The heart introduces ambrette musk alongside lily of the valley and iris, with vetiver underneath. It smells freshly laundered and lightly powdery, tempered by a green, earthy quality.
The base favours amber and smooth sandalwood enfolded in musk, with patchouli adding depth. The trail becomes woodier and cosier, yet remains mellow and near the skin.
