Share what you noticed: opening, drydown, sillage and the moments when it works for you.
I bought it blindly and it just didn’t suit me: it smells intensely of nutmeg, and that promised fresh lemon note is completely absent on my skin. I think it’s more suited to people over 40.
I picked it up because it’s often compared to Creed’s Royal Oud, and what a good reference that is, although the trail doesn’t last as long. The opening is exquisite; I’d love for that spicy, nutmeg freshness to linger longer before opening up into something more oriental, like Lomani Body & Soul. The base reminds me of that perfume, but here the oud is more restrained, blended with herbs, resulting in a timeless scent that isn’t quite as dark. The packaging is beautiful. If you’re looking for a big oud, go for Ferrari Essence Oud instead.
The surprise of the year; you can’t miss out while it’s available at this price. It would be a crime not to try it.
