Descripción
Invictus Onyx Collector Edition by Rabanne is a men's fragrance from the olfactive family launched in 2020. This composition was created by Veronique Nyberg, Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion and Olivier Polge. The top notes reveal a marine freshness accompanied by grapefruit and tangerine; the floral heart unfolds with bay laurel and jasmine; while the base settles on ambergris, patchouli, guaiac wood and moss.

Brutal fragrance; I’m already on my third bottle. It’s been my signature scent since 2015
What are you talking about, cousin? This fragrance came out almost brand new (2020)
It’s the same Invictus as always, just shifting the focus slightly away from the sticky scent to emphasise its more citrusy grapefruit side (how novel!). It still smells the same but with stronger grapefruit notes. We needed more perfumes smelling like the original Invictus (as if there weren’t already three identical versions x(
It’s the same old Invictus, just emphasising the sticky smell to highlight its more citrusy grapefruit side—what a novelty! It still smells the same but with stronger touches of grapefruit. As the first comment says, it’s the same perfume; the only thing that changes is the bottle, and as usual, they mention it in the name. The bottle is very pretty; if I were to buy the original Invictus, I’d choose this presentation.
Smells very similar to the normal Invictus, with the herbal notes standing out, especially the laurel, boasting monstrous trail, longevity, and sillage
It smells very much like the normal Invictus, with herbal notes, especially the laurel, standing out more. The trail, longevity, and sillage are monstrous.
Wooow!!!! I loved it immensely. It is more complete than the original, not identical but certainly reminiscent. I believe this is a touch more mature, complex, intense, and better crafted. The longevity is excellent and the projection very good. I think it’s worth trying; I bought it blind and have no regrets, but if you don’t want to take the risk, buy a decant and decide for yourself. For me, it’s an 8.5 out of 10.

It carries ambergris and patchouli, both delightful. Success is almost guaranteed, though it shares a very similar DNA to the original Invictus… that’s why I feel they’re still squeezing the milk cow dry with repeated Invictus clones. With these editions and re-releases… how can they not do something different and stop calling it Invictus 2.0, then 3.0, etc? Please!
Its packaging screams ‘juicy’, but it’s the exact opposite. For me, this flanker didn’t have the impact of its siblings; I viewed it as a black beast before using it, but after trying it, I concluded it’s not for tropical climates, as its fixation becomes precarious and weak in the heat. In cold weather, it performs well. For me, it’s a failed attempt by ADG Profumo, as its black aesthetic aligns with Kenneth Cole’s target, which is greener and floral than Amaderada and distinctly masculine. I apologise to the customers I recommended this to; unfortunately, they noticed that a Splash outperforms it in longevity. Fixation: 1/10 Projection: 1/10 Masculinity: 8/10 Sensuality: 7/10 Overall Rating: 4
What a good purchase. It’s cheaper than the original Invictus, projects well, and lasts all day. It’s a beast mode with better performance than Platinum. If you see it on the shelves, don’t hesitate to buy it.
Invictus Onyx: I picked it up at a great price and was pleasantly surprised. The opening is delicious, with grapefruit and tangerine dominating masterfully at first. Then the intensity drops, it loses its juiciness, and aquatic notes with a herbal touch emerge. It settles into a salty aquatic composition. Very rich for hot weather, not overpowering, lasts well but isn’t a beast. Scent 8/10 Longevity 7/10 Praise 9/10 (RECOMMENDED)
Invictus Onyx: I bought it at a good price and was pleasantly surprised. The opening is delicious; the grapefruit and tangerine are front and centre. The opening is masterful. Then the intensity drops, it stops being so juicy, and the aquatic notes join the herbal aspects. Finally, it settles into an aquatic composition with a salty touch. A very rich fragrance for hot weather; it doesn’t bother, lasts well but isn’t quite a beast. Scent 8/10, Longevity 7/10, Impressions 9/10 (RECOMMENDED)
It’s the usual Invictus, just in a different bottle. In fact, I have this one and not the original EDT, but they are the same
It’s the usual Invictus in a different bottle. In fact, I own this and not the original EDT, and they smell identical.
Of all the derivatives, this is the only citrus one that feels versatile and highly seductive.
Of all the flankers, the only one that seems to me a fairly versatile and seductive citrus
