Jaguar Era Reloaded by Jaguar is a men's fragrance from the olfactive family. Launched in 2024, this composition features Brazilian orange and Sicilian lemon in its top notes. The heart of the fragrance unfolds a harmony of pineapple, pink pepper, nutmeg, jasmine, apple, melon, and peppermint. To finish, the base notes reveal a warm, woody foundation with Amber Xtreme, sandalwood, tonka bean, vanilla, caramel, musk, cedar, amber, labdanum, and patchouli.

This fragrance brings to mind Joop’s younger lines, such as Jump, with a distinct sweetness typical of that style. The trail is soft, ideal for spring or night, between 18 and 24 degrees. It’s youthful and nocturnal, the opposite of scents like Encre Noir. It aims to please rather than dominate. Despite being an EDP, it is quite soft and cheerful. If you wear it heavily on your hands to recall it, you lose the memory. Fragrances with a hint of talc, when your nose is tired, eventually end up resembling soap. That doesn’t diminish it; it’s a refined fragrance. I bought it on offer for €19; I wouldn’t have paid the €60 the brand recommends. In summary, it’s a fragrance to enjoy within your own sphere, though I doubt it projects enough to attract followers… and that’s precisely what I like about it.

It reminds me of Joop’s younger lines, like Jump, with that characteristic sweet touch from the brand. The trail is soft, perfect for spring or evenings between 18 and 24 degrees. It’s a youthful, nocturnal scent, quite the opposite of something like Encre Noir. It doesn’t seek to dominate, but rather to please. Although it’s an EDP, it smells quite light and cheerful. If you apply it heavily to your hands to remember it, you lose the effect. With a fatigued nose, talc-based perfumes eventually start to smell like soap, but that doesn’t detract from its refinement. I picked it up on offer for €19; I wouldn’t have paid the €60 the brand asks. In short, it’s for enjoying within your own circle, though I doubt it projects enough to attract followers… and that’s exactly what I like about it.

One question about this fragrance: the box says Eau de Parfum, but the bottle has an Eau de Toilette label, and the projection is clearly that of an EDT. Is this a marketing ploy? 🙁
