Jaguar Prestige by Jaguar is a woody-spicy fragrance for men. Launched in 2008, this composition was created by Dominique Preyssas. The top notes unfold a citrusy and fruity freshness with Sicilian lemon, grapefruit, Italian mandarin, pear, and bergamot. The heart reveals an aromatic and spicy complexity thanks to lavender, cardamom, birch leaves, pink pepper, black pepper, nutmeg, coriander, and fir resin. The base settles on a warm and sensual foundation formed by Madagascar vetiver, Virginia cedar, galbanum, sandalwood, patchouli, musk, tonka bean, moss, and Brazilian rosewood.

A real find from the Jaguar house. I picked it up blindly in a promotion alongside the Jaguar Classic Amber, which I was already keen to own, and for just a little extra, I decided to grab both. Tried it on and wow, total surprise. I’ve taken a liking to its sober yet sweet, gentle scent. It opens with an exquisite burst of citrus notes blended with pear, which is noticeable. The projection is excellent and far from linear. It suits both young people and adults alike, perfect for casual outings as well as the office, simply because it smells so pleasant. It’s very versatile. Where I live it’s hot, yet it lasted six hours on my skin—something the Classic Amber doesn’t do, and much longer on clothes. I imagine its longevity would be even greater in cooler environments. A bargain given its truly accessible price. Personal Rating: 8.5/10
