The fragrance is composed by Aichi Liu, who balances a resinous, woody base with notes of fruit, confection, and smoke.
Mandarin and angelica provide a bright, aromatic start; then the scent moves through sour cherry, plum, roasted coffee, and tobacco, threaded with incense and clove-like warmth.
The heart-strong leather accord is built on birch tar, castoreum, and cade oil, while Mysore sandalwood and two cedars—Virginia and Atlas—lend a milky, balsamic undertone.
Oud wood, patchouli, oakmoss, and amber add heft to the base. Sweetness appears as chocolate, caramel, and whisky, with styrax and olibanum giving a church-like smokiness.
This is a dense perfume: woody, ambery, smoky, sweet, warm-spicy, leathery, and faintly aromatic. It sits close to the skin at first, then blooms into a generous sillage in cooler temperatures.
