Knots Strength: Taut Leather Lit by Citrus and Incense
Knots Strength, from Aura Fragrances, arrived in 2026 as a leather creation for women and men by Mohamed Alahbabi.
The structure favours contrast: an invigorating citrus and basil prelude, a central knot of leather, patchouli and jasmine, and a pared-back close of mandarin and incense.
Lime with a tart edge, bergamot and basil open the fragrance. The impression is green and sparkling, the basil lending an aromatic, lightly peppered freshness.
At the centre, patchouli, leather and jasmine take over. Leather gives a dry grain, patchouli strengthens the foundation, and jasmine introduces a white floral note that lifts the blend.
Mandarin and incense form the declared base. Mandarin keeps a citrus gleam going late on, while incense contributes pale smoke, gentle warm spice and an amber-like glow.
The overall trail runs from citrusy and herbal towards smoky, woody and ambery ground, with leather, patchouli and white flowers holding the middle. It is leather kept on a tight rein, not a dark, weighty one.
