  • Red apples, lemon and brown sugar with a touch of vanilla… smells delicious and, although the concept is common, it feels refined on the skin. I absolutely loved it and am already thinking of restocking it. The golden bottle is another matter: cap, plaque, everything is pure art.

  • VIVIANA_GEO_PATAGONIA

I bought it a few days ago and tried it in the late afternoon. When I woke up the next day, it still smelled of apple, coconut and cinnamon. Exquisite. It is the limited edition extract in the sky-blue bottle. I have no regrets, although I think it’s not for hot weather; there are still months to go before winter ends here in Argentina.

  • A very gourmand perfume. For me, who am not usually a gourmand, this has won me over. It opens with a citrusy, juicy apple that dominates the entire evolution, although vanilla and cinnamon are faintly detectable at the base. My daughters say it smells like marshmallow and they are right. The longevity is good with moderate projection. Also, I love the poetry of the fragrance; it will surely earn compliments.

  • What a pity. A beautiful perfume but not worth the price. It lacks longevity and if it does last, it’s just a skin trail. A waste of money.

  • It is a pity. A beautiful fragrance but not worth the price. It has no longevity, and if it lasts, it is only on the skin. A wasted sum of money.

At first it smells of citrus apple, certainly due to the bergamot. Then it sweetens and that juicy apple dominates almost the entire evolution. I barely notice the cinnamon, but it is there at the base, and the coconut practically does not appear. I should add that this apple scent is different from others and is the one I have liked the most so far.

  • Things have changed since I first heard it and I feel obliged to update this review. My mistake was testing it with another perfume and then the weather. Now the scent is very different: it’s like those autumn afternoons when you heat the oven for an apple strudel. At the start it is fresh, then it cooks with the dough, the vanilla and the cinnamon, and at the end you accompany it with hot chocolate. I only perceive it well in cool weather; in the heat it bothers my nose. If you wait for the right climate, it is a lovely and enjoyable scent.

  • Things have changed since I first sniffed it. My mistake was testing it with another fragrance, and the second was the weather. Now, in simple words: Danza smells like those autumn afternoons when you heat the oven for an apple strudel. At first it is fresh, but gradually it cooks with the dough, vanilla, and cinnamon, until it is ready and you accompany it with hot chocolate. I only perceive it this way in cool weather; in the heat, it makes me uncomfortable and I avoid it. If you wait for the right weather, it is a pretty and enjoyable scent. Originally it was not bad, but I felt it lacked the lift to those dragonflies. It smells of fresh red apple with cocoa, a touch of cinnamon and vanilla, staying this way throughout. I bought it thinking it had coconut, but there is no trace of it; it is a poor translation on the Italian website. It seems more suitable for autumn or mild weather due to the cocoa load.

  • Gourmand Bottle

Nobile 1942 describes it as follows: ‘Created according to aromatherapy for a self-care effect on the hardest days’. It is an invitation to take life less seriously, with dukes, castles, and frivolity. A fragrance for self-indulgence, when femininity demands some pampering and carefree time. And it is true; it is a light and affectionate gourmand, very tender and adorable. Of all the gourmands I own, this is the only one that still smells like a real perfume.

  • Gourmand Bottle

Nobile 1942 describes it thus: created to pamper oneself on hard days. ‘The Dance of the Dragonflies’ is an invitation to take life less seriously, with lightness and frivolity. Everything they say is true: it is a light and affectionate gourmand, very tender and adorable. Of all my gourmands, this one still smells like a real perfume.

  • MINERVparfums

This perfume has been a dream come true. By chance I heard its name, looked up information about Lehar’s opera and fell in love platonically. It is an invitation to travel, to indulge and to let yourself be carried away by the wind. Upon trying it I had an olfactory confusion; I could not describe it. I closed my eyes, relaxed the rest of my senses and understood the magic of this gourmand. It is spectacular; its chords dance in harmony on your skin. There is a second of apple, then sweet cinnamon, refined vanilla embracing a white musk, and suddenly the apple returns with a citrusy touch of bergamot that gives way to a creamy, fresh coconut vanilla. It lasted about 8 hours on the skin, with moderate projection. The bottle looks as if it came out of a fairy tale. Fun fact: dragonflies symbolise good luck, peace, strength, prosperity and purity.

Thanks to Cnidaria for sharing a decant of ‘Noble Dragonflies’. The dragonfly, associated with the wind, represents change and reminds us to let it take us where it blows. The name is poetic and the bottle seems to have come from a fantasy universe. It was difficult to review: I had to try it for 4 days to understand it. Those dancing dragonflies did not stay still on my skin; when they did, they emitted a sweet scent like flower nectar. But their presence was so short that I could not catch them. Day one 2 hours, day two 2 hours, day three 1 hour more and day four 3 hours more. I had to bring my nose close to their wings to breathe that beautiful and secret scent. On me it was linear, with the bergamot, exquisite apple and vanilla standing out. It has everything to be legendary, but I was not fortunate enough to be invited to dance. Scent: 8.5/10, Sillage: 1/10, Longevity: 5/10, Bottle: 10/10.

  • It smells mainly of sweet red apple without being cloying. You can detect cedar, which gives freshness and prevents the sweetness from feeling heavy. You can also perceive the slightly spicy note of cinnamon very faintly. My impression is that, although it is pleasant, it does not match its price or the brand’s elegant concept. It stays as a rich but youthful and linear fragrance. The sillage is moderate and lasts about 4 hours. In my opinion, it is a niche surpassed by much cheaper scents. Scent 7/10, Longevity 5/10, Sillage 7/10, Value for money 4/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 8.5/10. Would I buy it again? No.

  • This fragrance smells mainly of sweet red apple, without being cloying. In my opinion, the cedar is noticeable, giving it freshness and preventing the sweetness from weighing it down. The cinnamon is also very faint. My impression is that, although it smells nice, it is not worth its price or the brand’s elegant concept. It remains a rich but youthful and linear fragrance. The trail is moderate and lasts about four hours. A niche fragrance surpassed by much cheaper scents. Scent 7/10, Longevity 5/10, Sillage 7/10, Value for money 4/10, Packaging 8.5/10. Would I buy it again? No.

  • I had been searching for this fragrance for a while because of that advertised apple, cinnamon, and vanilla note. What a disappointment it turned out to be. I absolutely adore that opening of tart, juicy red apple, but over time it becomes synthetic, perhaps due to the mix of coconut and cedar. I think I have an issue with my expectations: when I finally smell it, I am let down. It is not a terrible fragrance, simply one that I expected more from.

  • Sweet red apple dominates, mixed with a canned-style vanilla, a hint of sweet coconut, and musk. The result is an apple and cinnamon jam with a touch of floral notes. The cedar is not noticeable, which could have saved this slightly cloying combination. I would say it is an apple fragrance for someone just entering adolescence.
