This perfume was a pioneer in its type: a sweet apple aroma, almost as if you had taken fresh apples, cooked them in water with sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon, and then made a puree. You bottled that resulting aroma, and that was All About Eve. Very good longevity and sillage. Although the formula is simple, it works well for daytime and many informal occasions, and for a wide age range. It seems to me to be a more natural scent than the rest of the Donna Karan line and its endless coloured apples. It’s a pity it has been discontinued. I still have a little left in the bottle and I continue to enjoy it very much for its simplicity and beauty.
Hello! I haven’t been able to get this perfume for ages! I love it, please, it smells delicious; it’s a pity they stopped distributing it here in Mexico. Personally, it’s a super perfume, fresh, rich, and elegant. Please, if anyone can tell me where to get it. I live in Mexico, in the State of Mexico. Thanks.
What a delight for the senses! An amazing gift; to perceive your scent and transform it into a flavour; I can almost taste a puff pastry flower with green apple, cinnamon, and peach. You are a dessert adorned with light jasmine petals that, when sprayed on my skin, feeds my voracious pores and satisfies my pituitary with your incredible longevity and sillage. You transport me to another era. You would fit perfectly in the Middle Ages, where you would be a highly prized commodity that, after artisanal preparation, would be treasured and turned into crystal apple, the same one that one day ‘Eve in the Nude’ changed your destiny with her fingers and lips. Now you no longer hang from a branch; you have left Eden, therefore: let yourself be loved, little apple, and fly to my skin.
Delicious! Green apple and vanilla, neither too sweet nor cloying. People compare it to Burberry Women, but there’s nothing alike! Not much sillage, but it fixes well on clothes.
It’s a relatively affordable perfume (in Germany, 40ml costs around €20) that I’ve really enjoyed without it being overwhelming. It opens with a very fresh and sweet green apple scent, slightly acidic. Soon, a vanilla with lightly powdery cinnamon kicks in. Personally, I don’t detect any floral notes. In short, to my nose, it smells like the filling in apple strudel. On my skin, it leaves a moderate-to-soft trail and lasts about 4-5 hours. Regarding similar scents, it only resembles Casablanca by Swiss Arabian in that both contain apple notes, but Casablanca is far more complex, unisex, potent, and deep. It shares a style and powdery vanilla with Burberry Women, though in Women the fruity note is peach rather than apple, making it less fresh and more balanced. It also has some similarity to Boss Orange, but All About Eve is sweeter and has more presence. Finally, All About Eve is much fresher and sparklier than La Danza delle Libellule, which is sweeter and denser. In summary, it can evoke aspects of each of them but is not at all equal to any of them; perhaps the closest is Burberry Women in my opinion. When I want to boost its longevity, I apply a vanilla-based perfume underneath. I probably wouldn’t buy it again as it feels a bit short-lived and reminds me of Burberry Women, which works better on me, but I loved trying it and know I’ll enjoy the bottle, of which I’ve already used almost half. Scent 6.5/10, Longevity 4.5/10, Sillage 6.5/10, Value for Money 5/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 7/10. Would I buy again? No.
I absolutely adore this perfume. Perfumes truly have the power to transport you back to specific moments, just like songs do. This one takes me straight back to my university days and my first job; people would always ask me what I was wearing. It has excellent projection if you spray it 7 or 8 times. It’s relatively affordable, as Taurien mentioned, but I still don’t understand why it’s so hard to find. It is simply and purely green apple: fresh, freshly cut, as if you’d just taken it out of the fridge to eat on a scorching hot day. It’s nothing extraordinary, but I think it’s precisely this simplicity that attracts me. It lasts about 6-7 hours on my skin, which is quite good for something so fresh. I buy it solely for the nostalgia of remembering my youth and the good times I lived through. I will always carry this perfume in my heart. I love it.
