Mandarin and pink pepper lead, lavender, sage and cinnamon follow at the heart, with chestnut, vanilla and leather forming the base.
At first spray there is citrus brightness cut with spice. Mandarin feels juicy and uplifting, pink pepper drier and more prickly.
The middle keeps a classic fougère backbone. Lavender provides that familiar herbal cleanliness, sage adds a green, slightly camphoraceous lift, cinnamon brings cosy heat.
Then the foundation softens matters considerably. Chestnut offers a mellow nuttiness, vanilla a balsamic roundness, leather a supple, faintly animalic frame.
The general impression is warm, spiced and smooth, touched by smoke and balsam. Lavender and cinnamon remain legible throughout, while the nutty-leathery base adds lasting texture.
