About Leil
Al Asrar Leil: A Cosy Evening of Apple, Rose and Chocolate
Created for women and men, Leil by Al Asrar arrived in 2026 with a distinctly gourmand, wrapping character. The first impression is juicy and spiced, sweet from the outset.
Gradually it softens into something more floral and velvety, resting on musk, sugar and moss. A calm after-dark progression, mellow rather than biting.
At the top you find apple, berries and saffron. The apple feels crisp and succulent, the berries lend a lively tart edge, and the saffron adds a warm, spiced glow around them.
The middle brings tonka bean, chocolate and rose into focus. Rose keeps the gourmand side in check with clarity, while tonka and chocolate create a dense, powdery, cocoa-led heart.
Underneath lie musk, grey amber, sugar and moss. Sugar lengthens the sweetness, musk makes it skin-soft, grey amber gives mellow depth, and moss introduces a green, earthy contrast.
The impression is sweet, fruity and warmly spiced, with facets of amber, rose, musk and chocolate. Rather than fresh or airy, it is rounded and nocturnal, playing dessert against woodland notes.
It feels most at home on chilly evenings and late dinners, when its sugared warmth can breathe. Suited to knitwear, night plans, and anyone fond of a noticeable yet creamy sillage.
It will suit those after a sweet, fruity unisex fragrance built on rose, chocolate and tonka, especially lovers of amber, musk, sugar and a hint of moss in the base.
Leil offers a well-judged gourmand evening from Al Asrar: fruit to begin, rose-chocolate at the centre, musky earthiness to close. Ideal if you like warm sweetness with texture.
