It opens with bergamot, blackcurrant, apple, lemon and pink pepper, develops through pineapple, patchouli and jasmine, and settles on birch, musk, oakmoss, cedar and ambroxan.
The first impression is fresh and zesty, as bergamot and lemon brighten apple and sharp-sweet blackcurrant. A whisper of pink pepper lends mild spice and lift.
The middle stage centres on pineapple, ripe and juicy, tempered by a neat white jasmine. Patchouli threads through beneath, bringing an earthy quality that prepares the base.
The drydown is unmistakably chypre in feel: oakmoss and patchouli alongside dry, lightly smoky birch, supported by cedar. Wood, moss and earth come to the fore here.
