  • The truth is I never bought it, only tried it in stores and it always disappoints me. It has a slight resemblance to Bleu de Chanel, I’d say around 50-60%, but it is overshadowed by the synthetic aroma. Longevity is around 3-4 hours close to the skin, projecting for about an hour. The only good thing is the price, much more competitive than other dupes, although that explains the quality of the ingredients. In short, I wouldn’t buy it; I’d prefer to save a bit more and go for Club de Nuit Blue Iconic, which is better in every aspect.

  • Fragance hugh

Durability and trail are very poor. Synthetic and flat scent. It resembles Bleu de Chanel but with much lower quality. Lasts 3 hours close to the skin and projection fades in 30 minutes. Perhaps suitable for sport or home, otherwise it is rubbish.

  • Fragance hugh

The scent is far too synthetic and flat, smelling like a very low-quality knock-off of Bleu de Chanel. The longevity is ridiculous: barely three hours on the skin and it fades to nothing after just half an hour in terms of projection. It might be suitable for working out or wearing at home, but otherwise, it’s absolute rubbish.

  • Maitre de Blue is a gem among luxury inspirations. It captures the essence of Bleu de Chanel EDP with mastery, offering an affordable alternative without compromising quality. Citrus and aromatic opening with bergamot, grapefruit and mint. Heart of jasmine and elegant nutmeg. Base of cedar, incense and amber that adds masculine depth. Notable projection for the first 2-3 hours with a fresh trail that attracts compliments. Lasts 6-8 hours on skin, excellent for the price. The similarity is well achieved, around 85-90%, although it doesn’t reach the roundness of the original, it conveys the same sophisticated vibe. Unbeatable value for money: for a fraction of the original price, it delivers a high-end experience, ideal for being versatile and elegant without spending. Rating: Similarity 8.5, Projection 8, Price 10. Conclusion: Meets and exceeds expectations. Fantastic for daily wear, fresh and sophisticated. Wear it confidently and in style, it will make you feel great. Overall score: 8.8/10.

  • I totally agree with ‘Fragrance Hugh’. I tried it on my skin and was let down: it was gone in no time. This is a resounding no for Maison Alhambra.

  • There is no possible comparison with Armaf’s Iconic; they compete face to face. It is a well-made blue, because the gap with Chanel’s Blue is evident.

There is no comparison possible with Armaf’s Iconic; they compete head-to-head. It is a well-made blue, as the gap with Chanel’s Blue is evident.

  • Beautiful fragrance, a pity its limited performance. While it lasts, it’s a huge pleasure; it’s a beautiful citrus.

  • Beautiful fragrance, a pity its performance is limited; while it lasts, it is thoroughly enjoyed, what a beautiful citrus!

  • There’s already an extensive review and I come to say it’s perfect; writing another would be saying the same thing. It’s a very good perfume, good longevity, good scent, excellent price. I bought it for $14, I don’t know what else one could ask for.

  • A delightful surprise that smells of accessible elegance. Maitre de Blue has pleasantly surprised me. From the first spray, a beautiful, vibrant, and clean citrus note is evident. Despite being synthetic, it is so well crafted that it is thoroughly enjoyable. It is one of those citrus scents that do not tire and suits both formal and everyday wear. It matches Chanel with considerable dignity. In my experience, the longevity equals or even surpasses the original. The quality-price ratio is incredible. A curious detail: if a drop of water falls where you have applied it, it transforms, as if coming back to life. It is worth trying. The dry-down is not as powerful in projection, but if someone gets close, believe me, they will not want to move away. I have received several compliments since the first day. A masculine fragrance, elegant, close, and fulfilling. Highly recommended.

  • There is already an extensive review, and I come to say it’s perfect; making another would be redundant. It is a very good perfume with excellent longevity, a lovely scent, and an amazingly good price. I bought it for $14; you could not ask for more.

  • A pleasant surprise that smells of accessible elegance. Maitre de Blue has left me pleasantly surprised. From the first spray, a beautiful, vibrant, and clean citrus is perceived. Despite being synthetic, it’s so well crafted that it’s a huge pleasure. It’s one of those citrus scents that doesn’t tire and serves equally well for a formal occasion or everyday wear. It duplicates a Chanel fragrance and does so with considerable dignity. In my experience, the longevity of Maitre de Blue equals or even surpasses that of the original. The quality-to-price ratio is incredible. A curious detail: if a drop of water falls where you applied the fragrance, it transforms, as if reviving with a new facet. Worth trying. The dry down isn’t powerful in projection, but if someone gets close, believe me, they won’t want to move away. I’ve received several compliments from day one. A masculine fragrance, elegant, close, and fulfilling. Highly recommended.

  • The best thing about this fragrance is its quality-to-price ratio. Maison Alhambra offers us an alternative dead-on to Bleu de Chanel without paying the exorbitant price of the brand; the scent is quite identical to the BDC EDT, yes, at first you might notice something synthetic, but in the short-term dry down it’s a carbon copy. Longevity leaves a lot to be desired, but at the price you find it, it doesn’t hurt to reapply, and the quality feels better than the Zara dupe. I use it exclusively for going to work, as perhaps in another situation it might fall short on performance. Besides, that’s what I say; it brings that aura of formality and seriousness that any job demands, so it works especially well in that environment. Oh! And it generates plenty of compliments, as it’s balanced and doesn’t overwhelm, despite its good projection.

  • The best thing about this fragrance is its quality-price ratio. Maison Alhambra proposes an alternative LOCKED ON to Bleu de Chanel without paying the abusive price; the scent is quite identical to the BDC EDT, yes, at first you may notice something synthetic, but in the short-term dry-down it is spot-on. The longevity leaves much to be desired, but at the price you find it, reapplying does not hurt, and the quality feels much better than the Zara dupe. I use it exclusively for work, as perhaps in another situation it falls short. Besides, as I say: it brings that aura of formality and seriousness that any job demands, so it works especially well there. Oh! And it generates plenty of compliments, as it is balanced and not overwhelming, despite its good projection.

  • Citrusy, fresh, and conveys a lot of cleanliness. It has a slight hint of cheap cologne, but as minutes pass, it balances out and becomes what I described at the start. I’d like a bit more sillage. Personally, it’s a fulfilling scent and not much more, but women love this type of perfume. I always receive some positive comments. Scent: 7.5/10, Longevity: 6/10, Sillage: 6/10.

  • I don’t know the Bleu de Chanel, so I’m only speaking about this perfume. It has presence and doesn’t leave anyone indifferent who smells it. It lasts a short while (4 hours) indoors; if there’s wind outside, it disappears quickly. It doesn’t project beyond half a metre. Given the cost, it doesn’t hurt to reapply. I used it as a signature scent for the office for two months (which was what the bottle lasted), and the truth is, for its value, it fulfilled its purpose.

  • I haven’t tried the original Bleu de Chanel EDT, so I’m analysing it as a fragrance in its own right, knowing it’s a carbon copy. Grapefruit and lemon are most perceptible; I also detect patchouli, even though it says it’s barely noticeable, everyone perceives things differently. This Maitre de Blue is clean, though not very sophisticated, ideal for the office or shared spaces. Although it is an EdP, it doesn’t project or last long on the skin, so it isn’t invasive. I’ve received compliments when wearing it. Considering quality, price, and performance, it’s a good buy, especially given how cheap it is. In summary, quite decent and pleasant if you like citrus and fresh accords. Don’t expect heavy sillage for the price, but if you like this style, it’s an option to consider (although I’ve smelled better-executed fragrances for similar prices). Note: the atomiser leaves much to be desired.

  • Blue and smells great for everyday wear or semi-formal events. Don’t expect miracles for the price, but it does the job.

  • Acceptable aroma as an approach to Bleu de Chanel EDT; yes, it is synthetic, but for under €20/100ml, you can’t fault it. A citrus explosion at the start, with grapefruit and ginger. Then come incense, woody tones, amber notes, and pink pepper. Like the original, its use is for heat, daytime, and any occasion, from casual to semi-formal. Longevity and sillage aren’t strong, so I recommend about 12 sprays without worrying about overwhelming the person next to you.

  • Gerabloodaromic

Bleu de Maître is an exceptional ‘blue’ that blends freshness with sophistication. It opens with vibrant citrus notes before settling into a solid woody and amber base, giving it a more mature character than others in its style. The longevity is impressive, leaving a clean and elegant trail for hours. It’s super versatile, ideal for the office or casual outings where you want to project neatness. A gem for those seeking quality and distinction in a daily scent. Smart purchase.
