Ugh, Zara has stepped up its game with the Black collection (I still need to try Agate). Smells like Bleu de Chanel with a citrus opening, elegant and sweet without being cloying. Perfect for dates, work, or informal meetings. Its Achilles’ heel is heat and sweat. On my skin, it lasts about four hours, less than others that manage five or two. Longevity: 7, Sillage: 8, Projection: 8, Value: 10. Rating: 8.25. A good fragrance, definitely worth trying.

Ugh, Zara has improved both quality and the Black collection (I still need to try Agate). Similar to Bleu de Chanel with a citrus opening, elegant, slightly sweet but not cloying. Suitable for dates, work, or informal meetings. Its nemesis is heat and sweat. On my skin, it lasts four hours, yes, only four, while others stubbornly manage five or two. Longevity: 7, Sillage: 8, Projection: 8, Value: 10. Final rating: 8.25. A good fragrance, definitely worth trying.

  • It reminds me more of Sauvage EDT than Bleu, especially in the dry-down and initial phase where it becomes spicy and ambroxan-heavy, which I don’t like. At the start and end, it’s more clinical; a good option for everyday wear, but not for me.

  • I own Dylan Blue and Bleu de Chanel. This smells more like Dylan but very soft; nothing like the original. It’s not bad.

  • I already own Dylan Blue and Bleu de Chanel, and this leans more towards Dylan but is muuuyyy soft, nothing like the original. Not bad, though.

  • Of all the Zara scents I own, this is the worst performer: 3 hours and it’s gone, even from clothes. What a pity because it doesn’t smell bad. Nothing like Bleu or Sauvage, perhaps a bit like Dylan Blue due to the grapefruit, but that’s about it.

It definitely smells like Bleu de Chanel EDT! But smelling similar is one thing. It’s 80% there in scent, but Bleu feels much more luxurious. However, given the bargain price of this Navy Black by Zara, it’s well worth it if you don’t want to splash out. Bleu costs around $150 for a 100ml bottle. You decide: do you want quality or price? Navy Black is for those who don’t mind spending little. Cheers!

If it’s true that it reminds you of Bleu de Chanel Eau de Toilette! But resembling it, NO! At most 88% on the scent, Zara Navy Black might resemble it. However, Bleu de Chanel feels much higher quality, BUT for the very economical price of this Navy Black from Zara! It’s well worth it if you don’t like spending much. Because Bleu de Chanel costs a fortune for the 100ml or 3.4oz bottle, $150 American dollars! So you tell me. BLEU DE CHANEL is for those who appreciate quality and don’t mind spending a fortune on a single perfume. Cheers!

  • Smells generic; reminds me of Versace Dylan Blue (which isn’t groundbreaking either). It’s not spectacular, but it delivers. It’s pleasant, easy to wear, and appeals to everyone. Although linear, it stands out for its citrus-sweet opening with aquatic and violet notes. It has moderate presence, lasts a few hours with 10 sprays, and spreads well. Its strength lies in being accessible, versatile, youthful, and summery. It’s a mainstream fragrance that sits well in any setting. Recommended for young people.

Navy Black by Zara (2020): Citrus opening, slightly sweet without being cloying, and a smoky base that adds elegance. Reminded me of Bleu de Chanel EDT, but with a sweet, sticky touch like Invictus. It’s very similar and can generate hype, but its performance is poor: around 3 hours of longevity and 1 hour of projection. Would I recommend it? Yes and no. Yes because it smells good; no because you’d have to reapply it constantly.

Fresh and simple, ideal for hot weather. Lasts 2 hours on the skin and 30 minutes as a trail. For the price, it’s good. When dry, it leaves a classic vetiver note. I recommend it for its value.

Navy Black: Starts citrusy and aromatic. As it develops, the citrus blends with woods. When dry, it matures into something elegant, almost sexy. It lasts 2–3 hours in the air and 5 on the skin. It’s a very successful nod to Bleu de Chanel, though its longevity and projection are low. For the price, it delivers what it promises and is worth it.

  • Smells almost identical to Jacques Bogart Silver Scent Pure (the white bottle version).

While it is more of a ‘tribute to Bleu de Chanel’ and not the ‘original rock band’, it could indeed be said to be a dupe of this. Although of course, it will never replace it. You put them to the test and compare them one to one and Chanel wins by a landslide; the difference in quality is abyssal. Recommended, like any Zara fragrance: you will smell good for a super accessible price and besides, these do not hurt to spray. I use it without fear to go to university daily, without fear of wasting it; I have even sprayed it in my room so it smells good. For the price, yes, I recommend it.

  • It is my current office fragrance. You start the day fresh with the bergamot opening and then I am accompanied by the clean, soapy and elegant vetiver base. Longevity is just what is needed and as for projection, I do not think it will make much of a notice.

A decent dupe of Bleu de Chanel EDT, though comparing them reveals it smells more synthetic. It has a fresh, citrus top note with a clean base. Quite good for school or the office. For around $20, the longevity isn’t bad, lasting 4-6 hours on skin with decent projection for the first hour. One of Zara’s best dupes; I’d recommend it highly, especially if you buy it with the $30 pack that includes 800 Black. Scent: 6/10, Value: 8.5/10, Longevity: 5/10, Projection: 3/10, Smell: 7.5/10.

It is a very good dupe of Bleu de Chanel EDT, although when compared clearly it is much more synthetic. It has a fresh and citrusy opening with a clean, soapy and elegant base; it is quite good for school or the office. For a perfume costing around twenty dollars, the longevity is not so bad: about 4–6 hours on the skin and good projection for the first hour. One of the best Zara dupes; I would recommend it much more, especially if you buy it with the thirty-dollar package that includes 800 Black. Performance: 6/10, Price: 8.5/10, Longevity: 5/10, Projection: 3/10, Scent: 7.5/10.

  • Fresh and pleasant, good for daily use in warm climates. I have not heard Bleu de Chanel, but obviously I do not think it is as synthetic as this scent. The longevity is terrible, as with most of the collection: two hours and it vanishes, unless you reapply or overdo it with the sprays.

  • Fresh and pleasant. Good for daily wear in warm climates. I haven’t heard of Bleu de Chanel, but obviously, I don’t think it’s as synthetic as this scent. The longevity is poor, as with most of the collection: two hours and it’s gone, unless you reapply or overdo the sprays.

  • The opening is delicious; yes, it is synthetic, but to me it seems very fresh and pleasant. It reminds me more of Dylan Blue than of Bleu de Chanel. I had the bottle stored for five months; honestly I only tried it at first and did not like it much, but today with some oxygenation and ‘maceration’ it has improved considerably. The dry-down is rich and gives me about 4–5 hours on the skin… acceptable for a Zara perfume.

  • Jeronimoposadag

Pleasant; many people have told me it resembles Dior Sauvage, but for me it does not. Nevertheless, it still retains its own distinctive touch.

  • It is a good dupe of Bleu de Chanel, but its longevity is not very long, only about five hours. It does project for the first three, but then it loses intensity. In autumn it is very cloying and it gives me a headache; for some reason women do not like it. Scent: 9/10, Longevity: 4/10, Sillage: 6/10.

  • I miss notes such as nectarine, coffee, sage, amber and patchouli; I mainly detect the sage and patchouli. It doesn’t resemble either Bleu de Chanel or Dylan Blue; sometimes it reminds me of YSL Y EDP Intense. It is a pleasant, masculine and deep fragrance, although the performance is mild.

  • Perhaps it smells like Bleu de Chanel at first, but after half an hour the vetiver takes over and is almost the only note remaining. It reminds me of the new Don Algodón EdP, but with less potency and longevity: only about 1–2 hours at most, and everything clings right to the skin.
