Citrus makes a crisp start, giving way to dry woods and a mossy, musky base. It feels suited to the evening: quiet, tidy and formal.
At the top, bergamot meets mandarin and grapefruit. The opening is zesty and faintly bitter rather than sweet.
At the centre, cedar and sandalwood take over. Cedar keeps things dry and architectural, while sandalwood lends a softer, polished warmth.
Underneath, oakmoss and musk form the base. The oakmoss brings that earthy chypre character, mellowed by a clean musk.
