Midnight is a study in contrast: pine and star anise bring freshness, while the heart turns dark with oud, leather and smoke. It's a complex, intriguing scent built to make an impact.
The opening is defined by black pepper, star anise and pine – a sharp, slightly green start with a resinous feel and a sweet, aniseed twist.
At the heart, frankincense meets blackcurrant, cypriol (nagarmota) and cassis. The frankincense adds a smoky, ceremonial depth, while the fruit notes deliver a sharp, juicy contrast. Cypriol grounds the blend with its earthy, woody character.
The base rests on castoreum, birch tar and oud wood. These heavier materials produce an animalic, leathery and balsamic foundation, giving Midnight a long, sensual and smoky trail.
