Veritas Fragrance Co introduces Virtus Aqua, a new unisex fragrance for 2026. With an aromatic aquatic profile, it promises a blend of exotic fruit, cool sea air, and woody comfort.
Created by perfumer Jayson Tautic, the scent opens with a burst of pineapple, coconut and mango, before moving into a salty, herbaceous heart and a warm, ambered base.
The fragrance opens with pineapple, coconut, mango, lime, and spearmint. Its middle notes combine sea notes, sage, floral notes, and pink pepper, while sandalwood, cedar, amber, and musk sit at the base.
The accords include tropical, sweet, fruity, marine, coconut, aromatic, woody, and salty. This is not a shy perfume: it carries plenty of character, yet never feels heavy or cloying.
The opening has a mouth-watering quality. Mango and pineapple are juicy and vivid, coconut gives a creamy texture, and the lime plus spearmint add a sharp, cooling edge. It immediately conjures up images of coastline and palm trees.
The heart is more subdued but equally interesting. Sea notes and sage create a light, saline breeze; pink pepper adds a touch of sparkle; and the florals soften the middle. At the base, sandalwood, cedar, amber, and musk create a dry, warm finish.
