The scent starts with bright notes of may chang, bergamot and citrus fruits, moving into a heart of red apple, lavender and geranium. At the base, sandalwood, musk and moss create a powdery, woody finish.
Vir Eximius opens with a fresh citrus blast. May chang brings a herbal, lemony nuance, while bergamot adds the crispness that defines the first few minutes.
The heart is dominated by lavender, a familiar presence in classic fougères. Here it is accompanied by red apple, which gives the blend a gentle fruity lift, and geranium, whose green-floral sharpness keeps everything in line.
