A perfume with excellent longevity and a price that has no rival. The scent didn’t take me by surprise; it’s very similar to the old Pierre Cardin, a classic of the modern era.
Top fragrance, hard to match. It’s like an Eau Sauvage but less soapy and more spicy. If I had to find a relative, it reminds me of Boucheron Pour Homme EDT: citrusy, sweet, with that clove note. A delicious and cheap scent, super versatile. It did take me by surprise.
What a fine job with the notes and their blend; these examples confirm that with cheap or low-cost fragrances, one must search, sniff, and discover, for there are scents truly worth it (not everything requires spending a fortune, always aiming for that high standard and safe bet). It opens with a fruity, spicy top, nothing citrus, with just the right amount of sweetness (neither too ambered nor cloying); perhaps it starts fresh before evolving into a warm aromatic (staying so until it fades), yet not of that heavy winter night type, even distilling a certain elegance. It may lack a brutal projection, but it certainly has a trail for a while. It has a night-side quality yet suits the day, not too summery. Correct longevity and unbeatable price in 125 ml, made in Italy, around $20. I don’t know if it’s inspired by another fragrance, but in my modest collection it has no counterpart, which is why I don’t say ‘reminds me of’ in this review. Would I recommend it? If you can find it, your wallet won’t suffer and your nose will enjoy. **I must give credit to Manny Aceves and his review, whether everyone likes it or not, but he showcased it, another gem from his perfumery arsenal.
