Moonlight Garden by Flower Knows

First of all: the bottle. As is usual for Flower Knows, its presentation is very beautiful and well thought out. The only thing to bear in mind is the unicorn’s wings—they feel slightly flexible and not 100% rigid, so be careful if you travel with it or carry it in your bag, as you might lose one. It’s not so loose that it would happen in a day or a week, but over time… I mention this because the fragrances from this brand don’t stand out for their longevity, and since you’ll probably need to reapply, I’d recommend an atomiser for transport rather than taking the bottle with you. That said, on to the perfume. I don’t usually criticise bottles much, but with this brand and the designs it has, it’s normal that the bottle is what drives you to buy, because they’re beautiful, but in general the scents aren’t very long-lasting or unique. The perfume opens with a very intense floral note. It smells like being in a flower field—you can smell different types of flowers, and it smells very green. I don’t think it’s a ‘wow’ perfume; it’s simply a clean, floral perfume, but precisely because of that, I also think it’s a good blind buy, because I don’t think it’s a scent that would offend many people. I don’t know which perfume to compare it to right now, but there you go—if you think of the typical scent a floral soap would have, it’s probably close to this perfume. You can use it all year round; it won’t overwhelm or bother anyone, firstly because it has almost no projection, but due to the type of scent, it’s very versatile. I don’t see it as an evening perfume… And personally, I’d use it more in summer/spring. As for duration, as I said, it doesn’t stand out either, as is usual for this house. Think of them as EDT performance even though they’re EDP. After about 2–3 hours, you no longer have any perfume, so by the time you get to where you’re going, it might not smell of anything. It won’t be your favourite or your signature perfume, or something you haven’t already smelled, but it smells very nice. If you’re going to buy one from this house, it’s not a bad option—in fact, it’s the one I’d recommend unless you want a different one for the bottle, because I think this isn’t the prettiest one they make. It’s not as artificial as some others they have, and it’s one of my favourites so far, if not my main favourite from Flower Knows. I’m more into gourmand scents, but this floral scent is better and more ‘natural’ than the sweet ones they have.
