I came across this fragrance by chance in the shopping centre and fell in love at first sight; it is perfect for my skin, the scent lasts and on me it smells both floral and fruity. I looked for it online and bought it at a good price, I am very happy with the purchase, I love this perfume!
I came across this fragrance by chance in the shopping centre and fell in love at first sight; it is perfect for my skin, the scent lasts and on me it is a floral and fruity blend. I looked for it online and bought it at a good price, I am very happy with the purchase, I love this perfume!
Another Guerlain fragrance that fades, and already two hundred million of them. It seems made without desire, anaemic, without body, boring and without spark, like opening the postbox and finding election propaganda from the same smoke merchant. It is a fruity ozonic-style cologne from the nineties, but six times more expensive than a body mist. At first you can guess the green crunch of a crushed fruit flower, but soon very marked watermelon notes enter. It also does its bit with that yellow and melonish pear in fashion. I don’t smell bergamot, rose, wood or violet; just an aquatic musk of watermelon and pear with slight hints of stone fruit blossom. We are in the worst era of French perfumery, which should no longer be called that but banditry. Twenty years ago Fa would have released it for six pesetas. PD: Longevity and sillage are poor, which is expected in a body spray.
Another Guerlain fragrance that fades quickly, already two hundred million of them. It seems made without desire, weak, without body, dying, boring and without spark, like opening the postbox and finding another election flyer with the same charlatans putting their televangelist face. It is a fruity ozonic-style cologne from the late nineties, but six times more expensive than a body mist. At first there is an instant where you can realistically guess the bitter, green and white crunch of a crushed fruit flower, but in no time overwhelming notes of watery watermelon take over. That yellow, halitotic and melonish pear that is also in fashion does its bit too. I don’t smell bergamot, nor rose, nor wood, nor violet. It is just an aquatic musk of watermelon and pear with certain very low hints of stone fruit blossom. We are in the worst era of the once-excellent French perfumery, which should no longer be called perfumery but Sierra Morena banditry; twenty years ago Fa would have released it for six pesetas. PD: Longevity and sillage are poor, which is normal in a body spray.
I took a blind leap with this new version of Guerlain’s Aqua line. Except for the citrus notes which I don’t like, I adore the rest. I particularly highlight Lys Soleia, which is hard to find and I have tried a couple of times. As there was no tester, I bought it just by reading the composition and it was a total success. I thought that being an EDT it wouldn’t have any longevity (I bet on EDP for price/duration), but quite the opposite. The cherry stands out, masterfully combined with musk and nashi pear, giving an aquatic and more floral than fruity scent. It lasts hours on skin and clothes, and people have asked me about it several times. I am delighted with this Guerlain novelty and recommend it 100%. If you are looking for something sweet or dense, you won’t like it, but for the rest it is not just for summer, it is a fragrance to identify with.
It is one of my favourite perfumes, the king of the Aqua Allegoria line. Although as an Eau de Toilette it doesn’t last long nor leave much of a trail, the scent is so rich that it makes up for everything. The opening is watermelon, but it is the heart where I fell in love: cherry blossom, fruits and white florals that transport me to a garden with fruit trees and aquatic flowers. It smells clean and fresh, nothing heavy, perfect to wear every day without getting tired. It reminds me of other cherry-based perfumes like those from L’Occitane or Body Shop, but due to its blend it is more unique and complex, improving with time.
It is one of my favourites, even the best of the Aqua Allegoria line. Although the longevity is short and the trail is low, the scent is so rich that it makes up for everything. To me, it’s a refined and elegant version of Yves Rocher’s Cerisier. In both, the cherry stands out, but this Flora Cherrysia has a citrusy bergamot touch and an aquatic quality that give it special delicacy. A whole experience that transports me to a sunny spring day: cherry orchards, gardens with violets and roses, perhaps a bergamot tree… and a fountain or pond that refreshes. It conveys calm and joy. Duration and sillage are moderate. I don’t know why, being winter in Spain, it hits me so strongly with spring aromas, but I’ve discovered several that I adore and I’m desperate for spring to arrive so I can make the most of them.
A floral blend with predominant lavender. It’s fresh but doesn’t last long on the skin: a mere whisper. I’d say it doesn’t pass half an hour, except for Nerolia Bianca; all in the line last nothing.
It has become my summer favourite. Always fresh, delicate, and elegant. It gives me the sensation of having just stepped out of the shower.
It is already my favourite of the summer: fresh, delicate and elegant, with that feeling of just coming out of the shower.
Just like the Fruity one from Zara. I didn’t know it was a dupe for Flora Cherrysia, but upon smelling it, I said: ‘wow, it’s identical!’ The Fruity wasn’t one of my Zara favourites, nor anything special, although my grandmother uses it lately and I’ve grown fond of it. This one is of better quality: the fruity aspect is more delicate, less sharp, more low key, and blends better with the aquatic notes. I find it super lovely and like it more and more, but I’d buy other items from the collection first because I already have it very well scented.
I had high hopes for this fragrance, thinking the cherry would be dominant, but it’s not: it’s synthetic watermelon and nothing more. Any ordinary body mist could pass for it, as it has nothing to distinguish it. The other notes get lost in this simple, uncomplicated watercolour. It’s not worth it.
I live in the Caribbean and this is undoubtedly one of my summer favourites (it lasts 8-12 hours on me).

I regret that the top notes fade so quickly; the watermelon is very lively. Overall, it’s an energising cologne ideal for summer, perhaps for layering with Flora Sauvage, and I’ll see how that turns out later.
I regret that the opening lasts so little, it has a watermelon that makes it very lively. In general it is an energising cologne ideal for the summer, perhaps for layering; I will try with Flora Sauvage and see the result.
I love sweet and clean perfumes; the watermelon here has that aquatic crunch that captivates me. It doesn’t smell the same as others to me; each note has its own melody. It’s watermelon with character, like L’Imperatrice, and feminine freshness like Bright Crystal. I’ve had it for two years, took my time paying for it, and kept it as a treasure until today. When I remembered it, I felt an enormous craving to wear it at home, alone, purely for the pleasure of feeling like a princess. I sprayed it on my back and the quality was superb: it’s like watermelon water, green lemon, and sweetness, yet not watery. You can sense the perfection, with no gaps between notes. Over a clean fruity-floral base, the heat releases a lovely bergamot (even though I don’t usually like citrus). It’s what Chance failed to give me: ultra-feminine, clean, with that Guerlain touch that makes it elegant and with better performance. Fresh and light, but with that YSL flair.
Bought it blind, hoping for something sweet and fresh with that distinctive watermelon note, but to be honest, it let me down. I was really keen on the cherry blossom because I have a hand cream with that scent that I adore and wanted something to match. On my skin, I only detect bergamot, an artificial-sounding watermelon, and a rose that doesn’t suit me, with a hint of cherry. After a few hours, all that remains is a faint trail of violet and bergamot. In the end, on me, it smells like insect repellent spray 🙃. It’s my fault for not trying it first, as every skin reacts differently, so if you like the notes, try a tester on your skin and judge it better (unlike me, haha). I wear it after a shower when I’m not going out because I feel bad leaving it unused and no one in my circle wants it. It’s not for me.
I bought this blindly expecting something sweet and fresh, but it disappointed me. I was hoping for the cherry scent from a cream I adored, yet on my skin, I only detect bergamot, artificial watermelon, and rose (which I don’t like). After two hours, it’s just violet and bergamot. On me, it smells like insect repellent 🙃. Every skin reacts differently; it’s best to try a tester. I wear it after a shower without going out because I feel ashamed to let it sit idle. It’s not for me.
A refined and elegant fragrance, not merely fresh. It opens with nashi pear and watermelon, but the dry-down is where it shines: cherry dancing with musk and wood. It transports you to Japan in full Hanami season without leaving home. Nothing simple, pure magic.
