  My girlfriend liked it more than YSL’s Mon Paris; they’re similar, but this My Party is softer and less ‘impactful’. If you’re looking to smell rich while keeping a low profile, it’s an excellent alternative. Update 18/06/2025: two notable things. First, it seems they’ve reformulated it because now it comes in a peach or pale orange hue, whereas originally it was pink. Second, if you macerate it in the dark and mist it a couple of times before storing it, the scent lasts longer, projects better and the top notes (even a year later) are much more explosive and brilliant, truly to receive compliments.

  My Party from Maison Alhambra surprises from the first spray. It comes out fruity, vibrant and juicy, with a sweet touch that’s addictive. Then a feminine and elegant floral heart emerges, very romantic. What gives it depth is that earthy and woody base, warm and sensual. It’s not just sweet; it has character and feels complete. It’s super versatile, ideal for day wear or going out at night. It has an elegance similar to YSL’s Mon Paris, but with its own touch. Perfect if you’re looking for something feminine with presence but without being overpowering. My Party is a great option to feel special every day.

  What a delightful surprise! On my skin it’s juicy, with raspberry, orange and pear in abundance. In this boom of Arabic fragrances, it’s the first one that suits me; the other citrus scents I own last two or three hours, but this reaches seven hours on skin and clothes. No need to macerate as they say; I tried it straight and it worked perfectly. Perhaps if you have a strong personality it might give you a headache, but I love it. People say it smells good and doesn’t cause a headache, something that hasn’t happened with other brands.

  Let it settle for a bit and you’ll see the colour change and the scent improve. Of all the Maison Alhambra dupes I own, this is the one that suits me least, but it does improve considerably. What I notice most is the orange blossom; it smells like pure neroli.
