Just to clarify, it seems there is a reissue for the 10th anniversary of For Her (the one with the pink cord), although I haven’t seen it in stores yet. If you’re going to buy it, make sure it’s the new version, as many perfumeries are still stocking the old one. The question is whether they’ve reformulated it to give it more intensity or if it’s the same subtle scent as the original. Either way, I’d be tempted to grab a bottle to keep as a spare; when I heard it was being discontinued, I was absolutely devastated…
In my opinion, it could be a perfect perfume, but it lacks a bit of intensity. When I bought it (and spent a fortune) blindly, because there was no tester, I thought the oil texture implied a high concentration and long-lasting wear (like Body Shop’s Musc), but I was wrong… it’s almost perfect, but too subtle; ideal for intimacy, not so much for a party. However, if you use more of it, the presence increases. But considering the price per millilitre and that it’s (allegedly) discontinued, it’s better to reserve it for special occasions. Furthermore, its opaque bottle, which doesn’t show how much is left, and the pleasant oil texture prevent evaporation of this (for me) precious elixir. It smells of musk, clean, and is muuuuuy comfortable and sensual at the same time.
The men’s oil perfume is missing.
