A fresh green opening leads to a generous bouquet at the heart before a smoked, balsamic and ambered foundation takes over. Floral throughout, it is never one-dimensional.
Apple blossom, lemon zest and tropical fruits are set against cardamom and buchu at the top. The citrus feels sparkling rather than sharp, and the buchu contributes a herbal, aromatic greenness that keeps matters crisp.
At the centre lie jasmine sambac, tuberose, narcissus and osmanthus. The first two supply a creamy white floral richness, the latter two a yellow floral mellowness with honeyed and orchard-fruit undertones.
Below sits wormwood, absinthe, incense, patchouli, Ambrostar and the accord named Spaceship. The wormwood-absinthe pairing brings arid herbal bitterness, the incense a dry mineral smoke, softened by amber warmth.
The stated character reads clearly on the skin: white florals and yellow florals to the fore, edged with aromatic, green and warm spice, then a smoky balsamic close. Patchouli lends structure while staying in the background.
