I was absolutely blown away by this Oasis Green, even though vetiver usually gives me olfactory fatigue. While it reminds me of Terre d’Hermès, here it feels noticeably fresher and more pleasant. The vetiver is present from the start and evolves through each phase: initially citrusy, with a touch of grapefruit orange and a very subtle pepper that just enhances it; then it gains a floral nuance and, with the woods and patchouli, becomes creamy and slightly sweet—a real delight. That’s exactly where it differs from TdH or EN, which sound more bitter or synthetic to me. This smells incredibly natural. I’ve tried it several times and it stands out for its potency and longevity among Rituals men’s fragrances: yesterday at 30 degrees, with 8 sprays, it projected for 4-5 hours (even with a mask) and lingered for another 5 in close proximity. It’s a very good gentleman’s scent. Regarding the price: around 70 eur/100ml or 42 eur/60ml, and with that performance, it lasts as long as a 120ml bottle. I like that the ingredients are natural and less risky for health, so the price is fair. It’s the only vetiver I’ve loved and one of my favourite fragrances. Au revoir! Note: the bottle is a beautiful green.

It’s a cousin to both Terre d’Hermès and Montale’s Red Vetiver. To me, this Oasis Green leans more towards orange than the other two. If you like those, this is a more affordable alternative. It has slightly less sillage and longevity than TdH, but not by much. The best thing is that Rituals sells 10ml bottles, so you don’t invest much to try it.
