I bought it thinking it was like Good Girl based on reviews, but everyone smells different. I think others got carried away by the cocoa and tonka. Today I sprayed it without testing and it was both a letdown and a love: a letdown because it doesn’t smell like Good Girl, but a love because on my dry skin it dries down like the Burberry Black, which I adore. Lasts 8 hours, projects well for 4 hours then in bursts. The moral: don’t believe everyone else; they did me a favour by letting me buy blind. It’s the adrenaline of discovery. Try it, even if they don’t share notes, they are very similar to me.
You’re absolutely right, Franny777. It resembles the Burberry Black a lot and I’m glad I bought it, especially since it’s sold at an outrageous price in Chile without reason. It’s not an easy scent like that one; it feels intense at first, then white florals (which I tolerate even though I don’t like them) and finally a touch of cocoa. As it has just launched, I can’t give a complete opinion yet.
An exquisite and sweet fragrance. I detect lots of ripe plum with a cocoa that makes it feel like a liqueur, with fruity touches and delicate florals. I haven’t tried the original Burberry as there are only reformulations in Colombia and it’s not worth paying more, but if it’s similar, I’m the lucky one. Projects heavily for the first hour then softens but remains noticeable. Lasts 7 or 8 hours on my skin, surely longer in cooler weather. It’s a gem and has nothing to do with Good Girl. What a pity it’s discontinued here; I’ll enjoy every last drop. Very happy.
Rich and sweet smelling, though the notes aren’t very distinct. Starts fruity with honey, then moves into floral with a hint of patchouli. It shares some DNA with Club de Nuit Woman, but Odissey is sweeter and I prefer it. I picked it up on offer and it was worth it, although it’s not spectacular. In heat it gets cloying. If you catch it cheap, it’s a good option; otherwise, better to look elsewhere.
