I have my Profumo from the 2022 batch.. and yes!! It is a good dupe of the Profumo.. obviously, my Profumo has already macerated quite a bit and smells much better.. but side by side there is a lot of similarity.. the Armaf is a bit greener.. but wow, they really pulled it off.. thanks Armaf!!
It smells nice, but it lacks punch. 🫠
Leaving aside the possible olfactory fatigue that this type of perfume can cause, and focusing on the comparison with the Acqua di Giò, my first impression is that Odyssey Nexus is quite similar to the ADG Parfum. I couldn’t try the ADG Profumo, so I’m mainly comparing it with the Parfum, which I do have. After about an hour after application, I notice a few differences: in the ADG Parfum, the herbal side stands out a little more, possibly due to the rosemary, whereas in Odyssey Nexus, the incense comes through more. On the whole, if you already own the ADG Parfum, I don’t think it’s necessary to buy Odyssey Nexus, as they share a lot of DNA. However, if you’re after a more affordable alternative, somewhat less floral or herbal, a little softer and with the incense slightly more noticeable, for the price it seems like a rather interesting option.
Another fucking bergamot and mandarin perfume, I’m not even going to bother watching a review, because I’m fed up and saturated with smelling the same citrus scents but only lightly mixed.
I haven’t had the opportunity to smell ADG Profumo, so I’ll talk about the Nexus as a perfume and not as an inspiration. It’s a super marine fragrance; on my skin it feels very intimate, like an ADG but watered down, and my perfume is authentic. I don’t feel that it projects; average longevity of 5 hours, nothing special. I wanted it because I needed a fresh, elegant perfume that would stand out, but although it meets the first two requirements, it lets me down on the third. Really good perfume if what you’re looking for is not to attract attention. Very masculine, I expected it to be stronger. Final score: 8/10. You’re not missing much, try it before you buy it.
