  Fragrantica claims this smells like Versace Bright Crystal, but it bears no resemblance to me—perhaps that’s just my skin; on me, it smells like rotting fruit, whereas Passenger Cruise is entirely different. I also see no connection between the official notes and what I detect, which is quite intriguing. On the olortiene blog, the masculine notes (mandarin, lime, green leaves, marine, jasmine, spices, iris, woods, and amber) make more sense, although I tested a decant of the white bottle, the feminine version. To me, it’s a floral-woody scent with salty, crisp nuances, reminiscent of a blackcurrant leaf or a saltier, less aquatic marine note (it recalls CK Reveal or Womanity Cuir). Reading the masculine description makes sense: it should carry some iris and dry, astringent light woods, like a salt-sprayed ship, with a touch of musk. It’s a distinctive fragrance worth trying if you get the chance. On my skin, the longevity has been tremendous.
