Perry Ellis Citron is a simple yet pleasant citrus and aromatic fragrance. The top notes are fruity, featuring citrus and star anise, creating a creamy sensation akin to lemon pie; in fact, this phase lasts much longer than in other scents where the top notes fade quickly. It’s somewhat linear, though floral and woody notes appear sporadically, and after two hours, the musk becomes noticeable. While other fragrances in this style already exist, such as Allure Edition Blanche or Armani Code Ice, this Perry Ellis lotion is far from worthless. What I would have liked is better projection and longevity, but its price is far more accessible than the lotions mentioned. It’s versatile and suitable for any age, particularly appealing to a younger audience.
I agree with Beto that this smells like Allure Edition Blanche. I was looking for something citrusy, but this is a spicy bomb that style lovers will adore. However, the longevity, sillage, and projection are low. Plus, there are budget brands like Ulric de Varens or Arno Sorel that offer even cheaper, high-quality spices.
