It is literally the same fragrance as Chanel Allure; identical and at 1/4 the price; really Perry Ellis is a good option for the wallet and offers good quality. The fragrance is spiced, cinnamon and anise stand out, preferably for cold climates. Scent: 8, Longevity: 7, Sillage: 7, Price: 10.

  • It is rougher than Allure, starts stronger, but in the heart notes it gives the same sensation, and in the base notes too. I think they differ in the opening. They also differ in occasion: Allure is fresher and Perry Ellis M is warmer, therefore they are not aimed at the same climate nor do they give the same sensation, they have different opening notes.

What a disgusting thing, maximum synthetic, and its scent is unbearable for me, try it before buying.

What a revolting, overly synthetic scent; the aroma is simply unbearable for me. I’d advise trying it on before buying.

  • M by Perry Ellis: First, it is one of the most plastic, synthetic, and artificial fragrances I have ever tried. I consider it more than a fragrance; it is a repellent. It lacks harmony, it seems like everything is going everywhere, it has no definition, and you can feel that powdery sensation of cosmetics, rough, annoying, and stifling. One of the works that should never have been released, one of the worst in the history of perfumery. Performance is moderate, thank God. If you are looking for something bad, synthetic, and without taste, this is it. Scent: 3, Performance: moderate, Longevity: 6 hours. If you want to offend someone, I recommend this, just for that purpose.

  • I didn’t imagine there were so many negative opinions! Although I understand the dark world of reformulations and know they are numerous, I met this fragrance thanks to my late father, may God have him in His glory, back in the summer of 2009. I guarantee you it smelled wonderful, nothing synthetic, like a young elegant gentleman or a businessman travelling in a sports car. I swear on my life, I’m not lying when I say it smelled like fine cologne. That was the aromatic idea he transmitted to me when I was just turning 21. It was an unreflective time where, although I didn’t know a PR pour homme was a fougère, I was clear that the effeminate sweetness of gourmands and the invasive stench of spiced orientals were not scents for me to spray. Neither was this M by Perris Ellis in the slightest bit foppish, sweet, or invasive. To recap, sixteen years have passed from 2009 to 2025, with global changes, rising input costs, and skyrocketing taxes. It is to be expected that to cut costs, many houses were forced, dragged by greed, to substitute components with synthetics close to the original. Out of dignity, they should have discontinued it before generating a bad reputation. Perhaps my olfactory memory is betraying me and I have fabricated a false memory of what it was in 2009. Anyway, I will look for it in a local perfumerie, not to buy, but to verify how synthetic they have lowered it.

Jerry7474 and Luis Heinstein are walking with their heads in the clouds and a very average nose; throwing so much hate at this perfume is a sin, they should try it instead. To me, it’s a warm, rich scent with a touch of talc, masculine and refined. It’s exactly what my nose needs. It doesn’t resemble Allure because this one exaggerates the citrus notes. To me, this is a masterpiece. It’s discontinued, but you can always find it on eBay.
