Pure harmony, it doesn’t disappoint. I don’t detect the rose like in other perfumes; I pick up patchouli, amber, and musk instead. Twelve hours on the skin.
How does it wear on my skin? Floral Sculpture opens with rose and patchouli, the heart is rose with musk, and the base is ambered rose. It’s a very different kind of rose. I only compare it to Lancôme’s Oud Bouquet after six hours, though that one is sweeter due to the praline, whereas Floral Sculpture is resinous and ambered. Projection is medium-high and longevity is beastly, lasting over 12 hours (it stays even after a shower). I wouldn’t wear it on very hot days; it’s better for evening. Edit: The packaging is gorgeous and elegant. Al Haramain really cares about the experience; it comes in a glossy black box, inside a leather case with a magnetic lid and gold detailing, and the bottle is nestled in a soft, thick fabric pouch with a drawstring, very Montale-style.
