The opening is fruity and pleasant, dominated by blueberry. But after about 15 minutes, it’s an idyllic floral-woody fragrance! The combination of neroli and magnolia is sublime and warm to my nose; it conveys well-being. It’s pretty, serene and feminine, a good mix between informal and elegant that doesn’t reach heaviness. It’s attractive and delicious. I see it suitable for daytime use, from spring to autumn.
I love Loewe perfumes, but they all have a note that makes my nose bristle; in this case, perhaps it’s the flowers being too intense. I think the magnolia and freesia are too much and sometimes give masculine tones. I see it for outdoor or daytime use; in an enclosed space, it would overwhelm me quite a bit. I barely notice the woods or the amber. It’s not for me.
I’d been wanting to try this for ages as it’s nearly impossible to find Loewe perfumes here in Texas, USA. After reading countless reviews and thinking I’d like it, I received a decant and, to be honest, I didn’t like it at all; perhaps it’s just my pH. It starts floral but isn’t the classic combo (gardenia, jasmine); rather, it’s a slightly bitter floral, like orange blossom with 1000% bergamot. Then that bitter acidity fades into a soft woody note. The cherries, which I expected to be sweet, are barely noticeable, very faint. In the end, it smells like a men’s cologne with woody touches. The longevity is good; it’s been over seven hours and it’s still a cloud within two centimetres. The sillage is low, but if someone is close by, they can smell it.
I was eager to try it as it’s not very popular here (TX, USA) and you hardly find Loewe fragrances. I read many reviews and thought I’d like it. I just received a decant and the truth is, I haven’t liked it at all; perhaps it’s my pH. It starts floral, but it’s not the classic gardenia and jasmine combo; it’s more of a slightly bitter floral, I suppose orange blossom with 1000% bergamot. Then that bitter acidity disappears and leaves soft wood. The cherries I thought would be sweet are barely noticeable, faint. Afterwards, the fragrance turns masculine, like a cologne with woody traces. Longevity is good, it’s already been over 7 hours and it smells like a cloud at 2cm. The trail is low, but if someone is close, they’ll perceive it.
A little overburdened, but not enough to cause me a migraine or nausea. The freesia is sweet and intense and dominates the aroma. I wouldn’t call it impactful, but it does have personality. I find it intense. It’s not elegant, but neither is it vulgar. It’s eye-catching. Lately, Loewe has gained prominence in Mexico, though I’m not sure if due to brand investment or a good public response. Only time will tell. At least the name is original, although it doesn’t say much to me.
Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps Passion taught me never to judge a perfume on first impression; you must give it time to discover its charm. The first time, on blotting paper, I loathed it: very strong, almost making my teeth grind. Now, with a decant, I’ll even miss it. On skin, it’s fruity and woody: sweet blueberries with orange and lemon that highlight their acidity, warm ambered cashmere wood that adds depth, plus a powdery and clean touch. The flowers give it that fine, classic creation typical of Loewe. If you’re looking for red fruits, not too sweet and nothing childish, this is it. The trail goes from heavy to moderate; at first it’s thunderous and red (my initial rejection), then it softens. It lasts about 8 hours. For spring and autumn, fresh days and nights. It suits romantic evening dates well; it’s supremely feminine and seductive, true to its name. It also works for formal or semi-formal occasions.
Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps Passion is intense, acidic, sweet, and bitter all at once, with a powerful trail. Red fruits and woods stand out, followed by citrus acidity and freesia. It’s a bold aroma that can be overwhelming if not applied with measure; ideal for temperate or cold climates, especially for going out at night. It’s not my favourite, although it improves significantly with time. I think it will appeal to those seeking something bitter/sweet and woody, off the beaten track, with a unisex vibe leaning more towards the masculine side. It bears a strong resemblance to Paco Rabanne’s Black XS L’Excess for Her.
Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps Passion is intense, acidic, sweet and bitter all at once, with a powerful trail. Red fruits and wood stand out, followed by citrus acidity and freesia. It’s a bold scent that can be overwhelming if not applied with restraint; perfect for temperate or cold climates, especially for night outs. Honestly, I don’t really like it, though I must say it improves significantly with time. I think it might appeal to those seeking a bitter/sweet woody fragrance that’s off the beaten track, with a distinctive and different scent from the popular ones, although it bears a strong resemblance to Paco Rabanne’s Black XS L’Extrême for Her. In my opinion, it’s unisex, leaning more towards the masculine side.
Exquisite fragrance, sweet without being heavy and very sensual thanks to the red fruits. The performance is excellent in both longevity and trail; without over-applying, it’s very pleasant. It’s a beautiful perfume, perhaps original, but with a seal of excellence: feminine and sexy without falling into vulgarity. The ideal is to try it on skin.
A lovely fragrance, sweet yet not cloying, and incredibly sensual thanks to the red berries. The longevity and sillage are top-notch, and although you don’t need to overapply, it smells fantastic. It’s a gorgeous, perhaps original scent with its own quality stamp: feminine and sexy without being vulgar. The best way to judge is to test it on skin.
I grabbed a tester because a friend smelled it, but I think it’s been a disaster for me. It smells stale, that vintage scent many old perfumes have. It must be past its prime because I can’t detect any notes; everything seems faded.
I tried it because a friend smelled it and thought it would suit me… but no, it smells musty, that vintage note that some fragrances have. It has to be worn after some time because I can’t detect any notes. Total disappointment.
Never heard of this until it was offered to me as a swap, and without hesitation, I tried it. It has a lot of personality and doesn’t go unnoticed. It’s a potent blend of red fruits and berries with a plush, amber-woody base. You need to give it time to understand it; I like it, but I’d prefer the berries didn’t dominate so much, as that note doesn’t quite convince me.
