  1. An opulent fruity floral with a Houbigant chypre twist that reminds me of Femme Fatale. I can picture Kim Basinger in 9½ Weeks swaying her hips and seducing with every step. It is sweet and intoxicating, featuring very suggestive plum and orange blossom, with a spicy clove base. Vanilla, tonka bean and cinnamon play a spicy role throughout. There are no animalic notes; the sensuality comes from the liqueur of its fruits and its finely spiced florals. The combination of plum, orange blossom and mimosa is surprising and works perfectly. The incense is soft, allowing the other notes to shine without being overshadowed. Nard contributes but does not dominate. If you like the original Poison, you will love this; they share similarities, but here the incense is more prominent than in Poison, alongside the fruity elements and that anise note. Rafinne gives more space to the florals and spices, approaching sensuality from an aromatic tone, yet with opulence without excess. The orange blossom is prominent, with a faint reminiscence of L’Origan, though personally I do not see them as that similar. A beautiful perfume; this review is for the original Eau de Parfum, not the reformulation. It is neither wholly floral, nor oriental, nor fruity; it balances perfectly between these aspects, which is why it is a marvel. I love it!
