Rosa Nobile by Acqua di Parma is a musky floral woody fragrance for women. Launched in 2014, this composition was created by perfumer François Demachy. Its top notes of mandarin, bergamot and pepper provide a vibrant opening; the heart reveals a floral harmony with rose, peony, violet and lily of the valley; while the base settles on musk, cedar and ambergris.

Rosa Nobile smells of roses, bergamot and pepper without complications, but it’s not boring, it smells great, nothing synthetic, all fine and natural. Pity that the longevity and sillage are so weak for an Eau de Parfum; it seems more like an Eau de Cologne.
This is how a rose perfume should smell. I agree with the previous review: roses, florals, bergamot and pepper. There are similar ones, but what stands out here is the naturalness, quality and realism of the rose. Leaving it on my arm transported me back to my childhood: accompanying my aunt to church to clean crypts, and before that there were rose stalls. It’s that exact scent, a very natural rose, like the heart of the essence, nothing more. High longevity in my case: 9-10 hours on skin, with medium-low projection for about 5 hours. If you like roses, it’s a must-try.
Acqua di Parma Rosa Nobile has my three favourite flowers: roses, peonies and violets. It has a citrus touch that gives it ideal freshness for spring. It’s a green rose, unpretentious, smells very natural, like spring. It lifts the mood, super feminine, ideal for the office with a romantic touch for an informal date. 100% spring-like, though I think it works all year round because it’s versatile. I wouldn’t wear it at night; there are other roses more appropriate for that. The longevity is poor, about four hours; perhaps the price is high for what it offers and you have to reapply, so I don’t recommend it for daily wear. Discreet sillage.
Very good perfume, I sprayed it this morning and can still smell it at 8pm: it’s a very fresh, well-executed rose with a touch of peony. It makes me feel comfortable and clean, quality is evident. Edit: in the heat, so much rose bothers me; perhaps I’m already getting tired of this note.
On my dry skin, it leans more towards a pink talc – something very classic that even my grandmothers would wear (not bad, but that’s what I thought). I don’t feel that fresh, natural rose that other reviews mention; it’s creamier and lighter. I can’t detect the bergamot or tangerine; it loses its freshness quickly. Never tried it before, bought it blind or nothing.
