Rosella by Anfar opens with a flash of rhubarb and bergamot, blended with something tropical and a juicy lychee. I love that it’s evolving: you immediately catch a spicy note, and after 5–10 minutes a sweet rose emerges, accompanied by a fleeting aquatic hint of peony. Then comes the velvet and smoky phase—a mystical, mysterious, and elegant rose wrapped in incense and powdery musk that gives it weight. Be aware, it’s not heavy or dense at all, as the rhubarb and lychee still shine through occasionally, lending it lightness. It’s elegant and mysterious, with a touch of mischief. I see it as perfect for autumn and winter; it might not work as well in summer, but it’s worth trying. It’s more of a night scent, though it serves well by day if you need to move with distinction. It’s stately, majestic, and seductive.
