About Rouge Forêt
Rouge Forêt: Red Berries Against a Pale Forest
Maison ORNA introduces Rouge Forêt, a 2026 floral fruity gourmand for women and men. The fragrance is the work of Camille Chemardin, Margaux Le Paih Guérin and Amelie Bourgeois.
It opens with hedgerow berries, turns to orange blossom at its centre, then settles on vanilla, white musk and cedar.
The opening gathers wild berries, raspberry, blackcurrant and black raspberry. Juicy rather than jammy, sweet with a tart lift, it establishes the fruity character from the first breath.
The heart is pared back to orange blossom and petit grain. The blossom lends a luminous, gently creamy whiteness, while petit grain contributes a green, faintly citrus crispness.
Beneath lies vanilla, white musk and cedar. Vanilla softens and sweetens, white musk gives a powdery, laundered clarity, and cedar provides a dry woody underpinning.
The whole reads as fruity, sweet and white floral in turn, with musky, vanilla, powdery, citrus and woody nuances in support. There is a definite gourmand thread, held in check by blossom freshness and wood.
Conceived for all wearers, Rouge Forêt places berry red in front of quiet forest depth. The joint authorship is evident in the measured passage from brightness to smoothness to structure.
To appeal to those who favour a well-judged fruity-floral gourmand: lively berries, clear white blossom and a sweet, woody base without heaviness. Suited to admirers of raspberry, orange blossom and vanilla.
Rouge Forêt follows a neat arc from berry to blossom to creamy wood. A polished, modern reading of woodland in shades of red.
