It opens on mandarin, pear and sea salt. The mandarin lends brightness, the pear a watery sweetness, the salt a mineral edge that keeps it awake.
At the centre, grapefruit, rose and sage take over. Grapefruit offers a pleasantly bitter citrus flavour, rose remains restrained and slightly powdery, while sage provides the distinctive aromatic greenness.
