About Sculpture Parfum
Sculpture Parfum by Nikos: An Elegant Floral Woody Musk from 1994
Sculpture Parfum is a feminine fragrance by Nikos, launched in 1994. It belongs to the woody floral musk olfactory family and delivers a refined, softly powdered character.
The composition was developed by Jean-Francois Latty, whose work here captures the spirit of early-nineties perfumery: a fresh citrus opening, a generous flower heart and a smooth, warm close.
The top notes bring together green notes, bergamot, tarragon, citrus, peach and lime. The effect is dewy and bright, with a slightly herbal twist that stops the perfume from feeling too sweet.
Lily of the valley, ylang-ylang, cyclamen, freesia, rose, iris, jasmine and orchid form the heart. These flowers create a dense, creamy bouquet with a subtle powdery finish, very much in keeping with the period.
The base consists of woody notes, sandalwood, tonka bean, vanilla, benzoin, cedar, musk and tuberose. It lends the fragrance lasting warmth and a gentle, cosy sweetness that sits close to the skin.
The overall impression is woody and floral, with citrus, powdery and vanillic accents. Aromatic and green touches appear along the way, making the scent feel layered and well balanced.
This is a perfume with a traditional structure, intentionally unhurried; it rewards patience as it unfolds through the day.
It will suit women who love opulent floral woods, especially those with a powdery, vanillic drydown, and fans of classic scents from the mid-nineties.
Sculpture Parfum stands as a charming, classically composed fragrance from Nikos, and its combination of freshness, blossoms and wood remains easy to appreciate today.
